Gestrals kids are fond of good old wooden swords.
Where to Find
Purchased for 1000 
Chroma from the back of the Gestral market, from the large Gestral with green hair.
Where to Use
Facing the chief’s house at 
Gestral Village, go to the left and hug the right wall Turn right at the fork, and you’ll find a rope. Take that up, go to the end, and jump across to a pillar where there is a Gestral boy sitting on the edge. Speak to the boy to receive the 
Sakapatate (Lune) outfit as a reward.
Unfortunatley, there seems to be a bug affecting some players, meaning that the dialogue with boy at the top of the pillar doesn’t trigger, even if you have the 
Wooden Stick in your inventory. We haven’t found a way around the bug if it does occur, but it will likely be fixed in a patch.

Pay the large Gestral with the green hair 1000 Chroma to receive this item.
Not a bug.. the item has nothing to do with the Purumi. To get him down you have to talk to the tall gestral below him first. I know because I only got the sword much after I got the kid down.

The game hasn't been out for 50 hours, let alone 100.... buuuuuuut there are some gestrel children in the town talking about their stick weapon being taken. Bring it to them.
It turns out there is a bug affecting some players, meaning they can't use the wooden stick. Thanks for the assist though; your comment helped us figure it out so I've updated the page with credit to you :)
