I know every first-person CRPG by necessity gets compared to Fallout: New Vegas, and if you can only buy one, I'd still recommend New Vegas over this. But I found this to be a fun game in its own right, with beautiful environments and memorable characters. It's pretty affordable nowadays too, so give it a look.
