Find Donan at Eldhaime Keep. Lorath has asked me to go to Scosglen and find the Horadrim known as Donan. I’m to deliver a message to tell him of !Lilith’s presence and the peril that brings.
Objective:
Speak with the guard I have ventured to Scosglen to find the Horadrim known as Donan, and tell him of !Lilith’s presence.
Objective 1: Find Airidah atop Solitude It seems Airidah has fallen to Lilith’s persuasion or is being manipulated by the demon. Yorin has remained with Arlo and Maisie to ensure their safety. It is now up to me to confront Airidah and find the truth behind this bedlam. Airidah is found in the far north of the Wailing Hills, high up on the mountain. The fog has cleared so you can break the thorns to access the paths that were blocked earlier.
Objective 2: Destroy the Risen Remains 0/2 After breaking the thorns and heading further north, you will come across two more Risen Remains. These are tethered to Wildwoods and other enemies in the area so cannot be damaged until the enemies have been killed and the tethers broken. Beware of the volume of spells that are constantly cast down as you fight. Once they are destroyed, continue further north.
Investigate the disturbance at Firebreak Manor I learned that Donan, Horadrim and ally of the Cathedral of Light, had an odd incident occur at his manor located close to Eldhaime Keep. Perhaps I can find more answers there.

Enter Donan’s study After speaking to the steward of the manor it seems the incident occurred in Donan’s study, but he was somewhat scant on details so I must press on and find out more for myself.

Investigate the disturbance In Donan’s study I saw another vision. Lilith visited him here, wanting something. Now I’m filled with more questions than answers that, perhaps, only Donan can speak to. But that may have to wait. Something is happening at the manor.

Objective 1: Search for evidence of Lilith near Braestaig Donan spoke of Lilith sightings near the home of Airidah, the elder druid. I should investigate the nearby town of Braestaig for clues. Upon your arrival in Braestaig, examine the Ward Totem in the center of the village to hear Chieftain Asgail telling the Knights about the village’s defenses.
Objective 2: Speak with Chieftain Asgail Head over to the east of the village to find Chieftain Asgail talking to some Knight Penitents. She mentions a deep fog in the north and one of the other villagers, Yorin, says he will take you there to investigate.
Objective 3: Speak with Yorin I learned that fog and enraged spirits have descended on Braestaig from the northern hills. The druid watcher of the north, Airidah, was not been seen since the bedlam began. Yorin, Donan’s son, says he can take me through the Weeping Cairns to reach the druid’s domain. Perhaps I can find more answers there? After your conversation with Chieftain Asgail, talk to Yorin nearby and tell him “Let’s go”. He will now follow you through the Weeping Cairns to your destination. Head to the Valley of Passing by ducking under the ruins and following the path around. The way will be blocked so speak to Yorin again. He will need protecting as he opens the entrance.
Objective 4: Defend Yorin and defeat the incoming spirits Waves of spirits will attack your position so kill them until Ruhna the Anguished appears by climbing through the wall. It is a Poison-Enchanted Elite Banshee-type enemy and isn’t too strong. It can be Frozen (at least on lower World Tiers) so simply watch for poison and kill it. Once defeated, the way will be open and this quest completed.
This quest begins immediately after Encroaching Darkness is complete.
Objective 1: Enter the Weeping Cairns Yorin and I need to pass through the Weeping Cairns to find passage to Airidah’s domain in the northern hills. Enraged spirits haunt the surrounding cairns. I doubt we will find a welcome path within. Go inside the newly-created entrance to find yourself within a gloomy passage.
Objective 2: Find the path through the Weeping Cairns with Yorin The Weeping Cairns acts like most dungeons and, as you can imagine, is full of the undead. Initally, you just need to progress into another chamber where Yorin will stop to explain more.
Objective 3: Speak with Yorin Yorin will stop next to the blocked wall so you must speak to him again to continue. He speaks of Wardstones that might be needed and can be found nearby.
Objective 4: Find and place the missing Wardstone within the Runic Standing Stone The Wardstone can be found quite nearby down the side passages on the floor. Pick it up then return it to the Standing Stone. The door will now be opened and you can continue through the Cairns.
Objective 5: Find the path through the Weeping Cairns with Yorin Continue moving northwest through the dungeon and open the little door ahead to find a small, blood-covered tomb. Lilith’s name is mentioned once more.
Objective 6: Speak with Yorin Interact with Yorin at the altar and he will commune with the Tormented Spirits.
Objective 7: Defeat the Vengeful Wildwood Two Wildwoods will climb out of the ground to fight, each with a different elemental modifier: one a Teleporter and the other a Plaguebearer. As Elite Wildwoods, they both hit very hard and can quickly deplete your HP so try and freeze or otherwise immoblise them. If you are a ranged character, keep your distance. Once defeated, you can continue.
Objective 8: Find the path through the Weeping Cairns with Yorin Go through the Chamber Door into the next area and keep traveling north. Enter another chamber to find a blood-stained cairn. Yorin is distraught.
Objective 9: Speak with Yorin Talk to Yorin once more to learn a little more about who may have caused this.
Objective 10: Find the exit from the Weeping Cairns Your way will be blocked yet again but you can read the “Writings of Airidah’s Concern” just before you open the Chamber Door. Continue northwest until at last you reach the exit to Ancestor Heights and the completion of the quest.
Objective: Check with the knights of Tirmair about Lilith At Donan’s request, I must head to the Shrouded Moors to find the Knights Penitent there and ask about Lilith’s activities.
This quest begins immediately after completion of the Exhuming the Forgotten Campaign Quest.
Objective 1: Find Airidah Yorin and I passed through the Weeping Cairns, but the hills beyond are far from safe. We must find a way through the haunted pass to Airidah’s domain, Solitude, to the north. Once through the Weeping Cairns, you will arrive in Ancestor Heights whereby you must travel north in search of Airidah. As you get closer, you will hear screaming.
Objective 2: Investigate the disturbance Run up the stone steps towards the noise to find several spirits and undead.
Objective 3: Destroy the Risen Remains/Defeat the spirits Two Banshees and the Risen Remains can be found at the center of the area. They shouldn’t give you too much trouble so dispatch them and then approach the nearby building. Arlo, a villager, will come out from his home to speak to Yorin
Objective 4: Speak with Arlo We found Clocheen under attack from some of the risen remains of the revered dead from the cairns. Yorin and I managed to clear the danger. But for how long? After he’s done talking to Yorin, speak to Arlo to learn about another 2 Risen Remains that need dispatching.
Objective 5: Find and destroy the Risen Remains: 0/2 The danger from the fog is too great and, if I am to find Airidah, that must be dealt with first. Defeating the attack on Clocheen points to the solution. Seems I must hunt the dead. Two more Risen Remains need to be disposed of: one in the east of the Wailing Hills and one in the west. Head to both locations and dispatch the remains. They are incredibly weak so it shouldn’t take long.
Objective 6: Return to Yorin/Speak with Arlo For now, the actions I took have abated the danger from the fog. Yorin and I can continue to find a way through to Airidah’s domain, Solitude, to the north. Back at Clocheen, Yorin will explain that things are safer in Braestaig. Talk to Arlo about Lilith and this will end the quest.
I missed Neyrelle at the Horadric Vault, but she left a letter for Lorath. I should take it to him.
Neyrelle is gone and I have no leads, save for the mysterious scroll she left in the Horadric Vault. I should bring the scroll to Lorath so he can decipher the message.
