The Alter of Ruin is a temple found in the northwest of the Kehjistan region, located in the bend area around the Amber Sands province of the region.
Objectives:
Explore the Cavern - Head into the Ruin, fight the Triune enemies, then find the slide navigation point towards the red bubble. Fight the goat men down there, and the named Elite. The elite drops an item called the Keystone.
Find the Keystones - You need to find two other enemy Elites in the Ruin, beat them and pick up their keystones. The location of these Elites are in the center, near the blocked door and the Healing Well, while the other is the southeast of the ruins.
Use the Keystones to unlock the the Ritual Chamber - Head back the central from where you fought an elite, and place the Keystones in the door.
Slay Dark Cardinal Maldul - Dark Cardinal is the final boss of this ruin, and will spawn in plenty of Fallen enemies, and a named one. One those are defeated it will spawn a few Oppressors, and a another named Oppressors. Once those are defeated, the boss becomes targetable. It will then spawn more adds in the fight like the Goat Men, and some more named Oppressors if it last long enough. while engaging in the fight directly. You will need to prepare to fight the adds that spawn, but if you manage to kill the boss, then the adds in the fight despawn.
Rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine - Return to the shrine marked on the map and complete the Stronghold.
Once you have completed the Alter of Ruin, you will get a waypoint to this location. You also get access to the Sepulcher of the Forsworn, which awards the Necromancer’s Hulking Aspect for your Golem. There is also an Alter of Lilith in the east side of this Ruin.
A collapsed ruin, now home to many cannibals and demons. This Stronghold is located in the south, central area of Kehjistan, directly southwest from the Denshar waypoint in the Fields of Hatred, in the south east of the zone.
Objectives:
Find a way into Omath’s Redoubt - jump over the climbing spots and slide into the Stronghold.
Investigate Oath’s Redoubt - There are four yellow circles in the area, you need to find an object to interact with in each of the circles.
Discover the source of the Devastation - Go to the priest character in the bubble, completing the four circle investigations should release the bubble, and allow to click on the Ceremonial Staff. Doing so causes a memory of ghosts to appear, with then starting a boss battle shortly after. The boss teleports around the castle, and various undead minions coming to its aid.
