Dishonored Guide Guide Info

About the Game

Authors Note

Initially released in October of 2012, Dishonored was met with a lot of acclaim, due to its gameplay and open-ended style of missions. The following year, three DLCs were released, two of which were story add-ons from the perspective of one of the game’s antagonists, and the other offering a series of challenges that lets players do what they might not have in the main campaign.

A good deal of the guide is to get you through the game without killing anyone or being seen by anyone. You might have seen this mentioned as Non-Lethal Ghost, or NLG (there is a speedrun using these requirements). This is classified as a Low Chaos run, with the other option being High Chaos.

Apart from an increase in rats and Weepers, there isn’t much of a difference between the two playthroughs until later missions, with the last one being played out differently. That doesn’t mean that the guide will focus just on that, as the different options for taking out high-value targets will be listed as well.

In addition to the main story, all of the big DLC will also be covered, such as the Dunwall City Trials and the two story DLCs involving Daud. Each one will have a complete walkthrough, as well as anything else that is major to them, such as trophies and collectibles.

Remember that the walkthrough provided is just one way you can play the game, so if you don’t want to follow it word for word, do your own thing!
