Vermund Dungeons - Dragon's Dogma 2 Database

A cave in Vermund near the Sacred Arbor.

The Ancient Battlefield in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an area to the very northwest of Vermund that players can travel to for lots of loot and challenging fights - namely a Drake and at least two Cyclops. The dungeon is also the centrepiece for the Tolled to Rest side quest, and must be traversed to access the Worldsend Cavern.

A small cave north-west of the Borderwatch Outpost and south-west of Eini’s Home.

There are a few entrances/exits to the cavern but the easiest to access is the southern entrance, found Here. Inside the cave you will find Saurians aplenty as well as an Ogre at the center.

A Seekers token lies to the North of the cave, but be aware that the treasures and chests are guarded by a horde of Saurians.

A cave rife with Goblin activity, located in Vermund and home to the Kindred Cape.

Serpents guard the Vermund cave which contains, amongst other things, a Ferry stone and the Gauntleted Petticoat.

This cave can be found in the creepy fog of the Misty Marshes. Inside, you’ll find an Ogre, several wooden chests, and an Eyecrusher.

A complicated cave system filled with breakable walls and hidden treasures. Found in central Vermund.

An unassuming mine entrance found in the heart of Vermund; inside you will find a coveted Wakestone Shard.

This is a tunnel worth exploring as it contains 2x Seekers Token and a piece of Jasper. There are however Ogres, Choppers, and Wolves defending this bounty.

A small, easy-to-miss tunnel system containing a Wakestone Shard. The entrance is found on a small looping back road in East Vermund.

An alternate route between Battahl and Vern, this multi-exit tunnel contains 2x Seeker Tokens and a relatively easy fight against slime.

Containing a campfire for rest and two pieces of armor, the Headwater Cavern is a great cave to explore in the early stages of the game. It can be found north-west of Vernworth.

The corridor that features two locked doors inside can be accessed by drawing the aggression of Stout Undead behind them - easiest to do with ranged attacks. The zombie will break the barricades on their way over to the player.

Jasper and Chain Mail can be found in this Vern dungeon, guarded by Goblins.

The Mountain Shrine is the first location where you’ll find the Sphinx. You can get to it by passing through the cave system just to the north of the Ancient Battleground, which itself is northwest of the Misty Marshes.

Contains a Wakestone Shard in the southernmost tunnel. Can be found on the left side of the road from Melve to Vernworth, in the northern region.

While you’re in the Nameless Village Depths, you’ll find plenty of chests worth getting. A lot of the reward here should give you Thief gear. Some of the rewards you should expect are as follows; Peltflayers, Thief’s Gaiters, Tigers Eye

The “Prey for the Pack” side quest will lead you to this small wolf-infested cave where you’ll find Rodge.

The cave is small containing a pack of wolves inside that use it as its den. When you’re on the Prey for the Pack quest, you will find a few inside the cave attacking the kid you need to rescue. A few more wolves also come from behind and attack you.

Outside of that, there is nothing special inside the cave. It is merely a small den.

A singular chest can be found at the end of the tunnel. The chest contains Favored Canopy

A longer cave system containing Saurians and gold. If you traverse through the cave you will find Half-Plate Armor in the chest at the very end.

Located north-west of Harve Village, this cave is teeming with resources - ore nodes, bone piles, and wood heaps can be found here in droves. The cave’s southwestern entrance is guarded by Wolves, while Choppers guard a camp on the cave’s eastern edge. Explorers can expect to battle a Chimera in the cave’s central room, where a pair of Darkmetal Greaves act as a reward.

A useful tunnel for getting to the Mountain Shrine.

Spirit’s Path is a small cave system with a few chests inside the crypt. The crypt is guarded by undead minions featuring Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton mages.

One of the most notable rewards inside this cave is a chest that contains an Onyx, and a Wakestone. Other chests contain spell books like Threshing Blaze, and items like Dried Spuds

Looting the unique blue chest at the end of the cave system will spawn some more spirits that will gank you from behind. Be ready to deal with the spawning adds when you open the final treasure chest in the back of the crypt.

Located in a hole in the back end of Harve village; this cave contains a Ferrystone, Wakestone Shard, and a collection of loot such as Saurianscale Cape and Serpentine Circlet.

Filled with Rats and Tomes, this dungeon rewards you with a Seeker’s Token and Lantern Oil upon completion. The entrance will only become accessible after making progress in The Heel of History side quest.

The Mountain’s Secret is a large cave system located in the very northwest of the first starting zone in the game, Vermund North. To access the cave, travel west from Borderwatch Outpost, and then travel north when you find a dirt road leading up the mountainside. When you reach the very top, you can find a trail leading to the mouth of the cave.

When inside, the cave is filled with Slime enemies that can only be damaged with magickal attacks. We recommend filling your party with a Mage or Sorcerer before attempting to navigate the cave.

The Mountain’s Secret Rewards - Dragon’s Dogma 2

Inside, you will find a few chests, with two unique chests containing the Favored Flower staff for mages, alongside the Soft Neck Wrap cape item.

You can also get Greenish Slime for enhancement or trading, and find a Chopper at the end of the cave. Players can also find a few nodes of Copper Ore and around 2x Silver Ore for their troubles if they mine the walls.

Players will need to navigate through this cave system to reach the Abandoned Shack on top of the hill, leading directly to a slope to access Borderwatch Outpost. This area contains some more chests, Grapes, and a Seeker Token inside the building.

A n easily traversable dungeon containing ore deposits, Stilettos, Iron Shield, and multiple tomes. The only enemy varietal is a Lost Mercenary.

Inside the cave, you fight lots of undead. Partway through the cave look for a climbable area with a rock you can destroy to reveal a token. Other loot includes; Ring of Requittal, Shield of Vernworth

Lying to the West of Vernworth, this tunnel system contains many Goblins ( as it becomes part of the Monster Culling quest) as well as the Two-Hander and Grievous Horns Archistaff .

The Twilight Cave is home to Harpies, Leapworms, Spiders, and most excitingly, three Seeker Tokens. You can also find a Harpysnare Smoke Beacon inside a chest.

You’ll find a few Saurians in the cave with a few guarding a Seeker’s Token.

The waterfall cave is a large cave system at the very northwestern point of Northern Vermund. Players can access it by going east from Borderwatch Outpost, and taking the eastern dirt road when the road first turns south; its entrance is blocked by a Griffin at the start of the game, but its corpse will eventually disappear.

Inside the cave systems, players can expect to find chests with various rewards, Seeker’s Tokens, and Peltflayers daggers for the Thief vocation.

However, to reach the treasure, players must first defeat several Saurians and Bats that live in the cave. At the very back of the cave, near the unique chests, is a Chimera, a special boss-type foe.

Windworn Gully is a fairly standard cavern dungeon, but it’s crawling with Rattlers. While the Bolts from the Blue are the top prize from this dungeon, there are also plenty of ore seams you can exploit, which is nice bonus compensation. Finally, you can search the end of the cave - the part that veers northeast - to find a Seeker’s Token on the ground.

The Worldsend Cavern is a cave system in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that you can explore for equipment and items such as the Ring of Grit and Seeker’s Tokens. Situated west of Sacred Arbor, this cavern can only be accessed through the Ancient Battleground, another large cave, which can be found just below it.
