Description
The Ash of War: Flaming Strike is an Ash of War used to enhance a weapon with a particular skill. Ash of War: Flaming Strike equips the Fire affinity to a weapon and gives the Flaming Strike Skill.

Skill that emits flame in a wide frontward arc.
Follow up with a strong attack to perform a lunging, sweeping strike.
This will also coat the armament in fire.
Location
- The Ash of War: Flaming Strike can be found in Redmane Castle. It is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab in a small graveyard along the south cliffside behind the castle.
- To find the Teardrop Scarab, from the front gate, bear right along the cliff towards a ballista, past the vampire bats. From here there will be a small gap in the cliff that may be leaped across to get to the graveyard containing the Teardrop Scarab.

- Provides Fire affinity, which adds Fire damage and decreases default scaling.
- Can be used on melee armaments (Colossal Weapons and Whips excluded).
