Anastasia is an invader on the border of Limgrave and Caelid. As you make your way towards the Smouldering Church, you’ll received a message that she is invading you.

The Butchering Knife will only drop when you defeat her on the second fight.

This invader enemy wields a large butcher knife with decent reach, similar to the one found at Smoldering Church in Limgrave. Anastasia has a number of attacks that you’ll need to look out for. One of the most common consists of Anastasia gripping the blunt edge of the knife, jumping in the air and slamming down towards you. This is fairly easy to avoid with a quick dodge or roll. There’s also an overhead slash attack that Anastasia will often execute on its own, but will also sometimes follow it up with a second slash and a final jump & slash. All of these are easy to get to grips with. The most damaging attack that Anastasia can use consists of consecutive slashes with the knife, during which at least three strikes will be executed. It can be difficult to avoid these once they get going and you may get caught if you try to interrupt them, so you’ll be safer staying back and waiting for the attack to end.

• The Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater (Mountaintops of the Giants) invasion can be found northwest of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, in western Mountaintops of the Giants.

• Drops the Sacred Butchering Knife.

As with all Invader battles, there’s no distinct phases in these battles. To begin with, there will be a large distance between yourself and Nerijus so take the time to prepare and, if you’re not confident in your abilities, pull him around the stream for a while until Yura summons in to aid you. If you want Yura to appear sooner, you can initiate the battle with Nerijus and after a few strikes, Yura will enter.

When fighting Nerijus alone, you’ll want to take the battle slow, don’t get greedy and rush in for an attack, instead, let him initiate Reduvia Blood Blade from around medium range and, once you’ve avoided the third slash, close in for a few attacks. If you’ve blocked a lot of his Blood Blade strikes, be sure to back away and give the gauge some time to lower before you resume your assault. Magic users have an easier time here, Nerijus will always try to close the distance on you so backpedal and use ranged magic to keep up the damage. Once Yura does enter the battle, you can let him do a lot of the work for you.

Bloody Finger Nerijus is simple enough to locate in Limgrave, if you look north from Lake Agheel, you’ll see a stream leading toward the Murkwater Cave. As you head down toward that path, Bloody Finger Nerijus will invade and the battle will begin. Note that you cannot use Spirits in the battle against Nerijus but you will be aided by an NPC, Yura, who will appear once the battle begins.

Bloody Finger Nerijus drops 784 Runes along with the excellent Reduvia Dagger one of the better early game weapons.

This invader wields the deadly Rivers of Blood katana, which inflicts a significant amount of blood loss build up (50). Okina will also use a smaller secondary weapon in the form of a knife, allowing them to dual-wield. They’re highly mobile and will pursue you relentlessly, but most of the attacks can be blocked or parried with relative ease. Alternatively, you can dodge or roll away from them. The main attack that you need to be concerned with here is the Corpse Piler skill, which is the default skill for the Rivers of Blood katana. This consists of a series of swift slash attacks which inflict massive damage and blood loss build up. If you’re caught by all of these attacks it’s essentially a death sentence, especially if you don’t have much of a health pool. The easiest way to notice when this attack us about to be used is by paying attention to where the katana is positioned in relation to Okina. When they draw the katana back behind them (to the right hand side), the attack is imminent and it’s time to move.

• The Bloody Finger Okina invasion can be found directly west of Foot of the Forge Site of Grace, in southeast Mountaintops of the Giants.

Okina is notable for the weapon they wield, the Rivers of Blood. This is one of the most powerful weapons in the game with a devastating Ash of War.

The Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin is an Invader encountered during Bloody Finger Hunter Yura’s Quest.

• You can find the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin by using the red summon sign north of the Main Gate Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria Academy provided you’ve been advancing Yura’s Quest.

Yura in Raya Lucaria requests aid from the player in the form of a Red Summon Sign on the bridge north of the Main Gate Grace. Walk past the magic seal to find. Enter his world and defeat Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin. Afterward, talk to Yura who will be standing against the railing near to where his summon sign was. He will explain that he is hunting the dangerous Bloody Finger Eleonara.

This invader can be found at the top of the garrison ramparts. Arghanthy wears light armor and uses fire magic, but they’re also wielding a large shield. There are numerous fire attacks that Arghanthy will cast, including a short-range attack which essentially acts as pulses of fire stabbing you. This one is easily avoided with a quick dodge or roll, but a more deadly attack comes in the form of a flamethrower-like spell. This will hone in on you as you move around, but you can step back far enough so that the range of the attack can’t reach you. However, to do this you’ll need to make sure that you avoid being cornered by Arghanthy at all times. Another spell that you’ll want to avoid (especially in a corner) consists of Arghanthy casting sigils of fire all around them, before lighting them up causing bursts of flame to erupt vertically. This won’t cause you any problems so long as you’re far enough away, but if you’re in a tight spot as they begin to cast the sigils, you should move out of the vicinity as soon as possible. As ever, leaping heavy attacks will be especially effective here, but you can also try flanking to cast powerful spells.

• The Chief Guardian Arghanthy invasion can be found at the Guardians’ Garrison, southwest of the Whiteridge Road Site of Grace in eastern Mountaintops of the Giants.

Dung Eater is an Invader in Elden Ring, you will fight him as part of Blackguard Big Boggart and Dung Eater’s Quests.

• Dung Eater will invade at the castle moat close to the entrance of Leyndell, Royal Capital if you have advanced his Quest far enough.

It’s suggested to advance all of Blackguard Big Boggart’s Quest steps prior to this encounter as it will render you unable to complete it and permanently miss out on a Seedbed Curse.

Edgar the Revenger is an Invader who you’ll first meet as an NPC in Castle Morne in the Weeping Peninsula.

• Revenger’s Shack in western Liurnia. This shack is found slightly north of the Minor Erdtree. Interacting with the Site of Grace by the shack will cause Edgar to invade the player.

• You may miss this NPC if you rest at the Site of Grace and then relocate, as he will not re-invade if you go back.
• This is a form of Edgar of Castle Morne.

Eleonora is a hostile NPC invader who wields a twinblade. She invades you at the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau as part of Yura’s quest line. When defeated, you’ll receive the same twinblade she fought you with, the Eleonora’s Poleblade.

• Eleonara will invade you at the Second Church of Marika if you’ve been following Yura’s quest line. You can find the church northwest of the Altus Highway Junction site of grace.

• She is a major part of Yura’s quest line.

• Eleonora is an invader.

• Her Polearm inflicts massive bleed damage and her attacks are of a quick nature. If you get hit by multiple attacks in quick succession, you’ll receive hemorrhage damage, which will make you lose a significant amount of health. Wait for her to perform her combo before getting a couple of attacks in. If you’re having trouble with her, consider using Spirit Ashes to take the attention off yourself.

• Eleonora is wearing the Drake Knight Set which can be obtained in Crumbling Farum Azula. From the Beside The Great Bridge site of grace, head the opposite direction from the boss arena outside onto the balcony and drop to where the enemy with the Big Cleaver is. Follow the bridge until you reach an elevator and ride it up. There, you’ll find a chest outside to your left.

Festering Fingerprint Vyke, also known as Vyke, Knight of the Roundtable is an enemy Invader and Boss in Elden Ring. The Invader version of Vyke is called Festering Fingerprint Vyke and will invade on the path towards the Church of Inhibition, wielding their namesake War Spear. The Boss version of Vyke is known as Roundtable Knight Vyke (Lord Contender’s Evergaol) and is the boss within Lord Contender’s Evergaol.

• Can be found in the north east part of the Liurnia of the Lakes region, on the way to the Church of Inhibition.

The bug that was preventing Vyke from spawning has been fixed as of Patch 1.04. Consider dashing to the Church of Inhibition to register the Site of Grace before fighting him.

Inquisitor Ghiza is an invader in Volcano Manor. Easily recognizable by his weapon that is a humongous wheel aptly named Ghiza’s Wheel. He’ll have your typical cleave and slam attacks which’ll inflict significant damage. The attack that you should be fearful of is when makes the wheel spin as slowly starts moving closer to you, this will inflict a staggering amount of blood loss, and most likely kill you, or at least leave you at death’s door.

• In the dining hall on the upper hall of the Volcano Manor.

• Inflicts significant blood loss.

Mad Tongue Alberich is an Invader in Elden Ring who will attack Tarnished that jump from the balcony in the Roundtable Hold.

• You can find Mad Tongue Alberich by jumping over the balcony in the Roundtable Hold.

This is a very difficult battle when you first gain access to the Roundtable Hold, especially as a melee. You may wish to hold off until you’ve gained some valuable levels before challenging him.

Millicent is an Invader in Elden Ring and also involved in an NPC Questline.

• Millicent will invade in the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid, close to the Commander O’Neil boss arena.

Defeating the invader version of Millicent has no bearing on her NPC Quest.

The Nameless White Masks are invaders in Mohgwyn Palace who must be defeated before you kill the boss in this area.

• The Nameless White Masks can be found in three locations within Mohgwyn Palace.

You will find the three invaasion spots in the following locations:

1. Southeast of the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance Site of Grace, near the lake.

2. Near the central island of the same lake.

3. At the far southeast of the lake.

You must kill these before you defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood.

Preceptor Miriam is one of the more challenging Invaders in Elden Ring due to her summons.

• You can encounter Preceptor Miriam at the Carian Study Hall.

Preceptor Miriam will continually retreat up the tower as you deplete her HP, summoning servants to aid her. Melee especially can find it difficult to hit her at the very top.

Recusant Bernahl is an Invader in Elden Ring and can be encountered if you’ve progressed Knight Bernahl’s Quest to the final step.

• You will encounter Recusant Bernahl in the Crumbing Farum Azula. Start at the Great Bridge Site of Grace and head up the stairs to the main path. Head along the path to the north and you’ll reach a balcony where you’ll find a ladder leading down to the south. As you take this down, you will encounter Recusant Bernahl at the end of the path.

Be sure to pull Bernahl back as there is an ambush of Beastman in the room behind him. Bernahl will deal a lot of damage with all of his attacks and he has an Ash of War that can hit a large area so take it slow, don’t get greedy with hits and you’ll eventually wear him down. Once he’s defeated, you’ll obtain the Blasphemous Claw, Devourer’s Scepter, and the Beast Champion Set.

Of the four invaders you can fight in Limgrave, Recusant Henricus is arguably the easiest, so long as you don’t overcommit and avoid his Flame Strike, he should go down quickly. One thing to note however is that Recusant Henricus is wearing full heavy armor, this means he has high poise making him tougher to flinch.

Henricus’ attacks are slow, but powerful, so don’t get overconfident and punish him once you dodge through one of his slow attacks. The best time to strike him is by baiting him into his Leap Strike, this is easily avoided, and you can roll toward him while he’s in the air to find yourself behind him. The biggest threat from Henricus comes from when you’re up close and he uses the Flame Strike, it’s easy to get caught in it and the damage can really start to add up if you stand around in the fire after so be sure to quickly roll away as soon as you see fire on the edge of his hammer.

Recusant Henricus can be located in northern Limgrave. Make your way to the Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace and head north to the collapsed bridge there, passing through to the northern cliffside. From here, head towards the large circular building to the east and Recusant Henricus will invade.

Recusant Henricus is one of the easier Invaders in Limgrave, just be sure to avoid his Flame Strike by rolling away from him.

This invader is an aggressive enemy who wields two daggers which build up blood loss. Their attacks are relentless and they can inflict massive amounts of damage in a short space of time, so you’ll need to be extremely careful to avoid being caught off guard by a flurry. The noble can also cast magical projectiles from the daggers if you keep your distance, but you’ll generally have an easier time if you can kite the noble while inflicting magic damage. Alternatively, don’t be afraid to use your most damaging melee attacks. The noble may inflict a lot of damage, but he’s more of a glass cannon than anything else. It won’t take many powerful hits to bring him down. The only complicating factor here is that there are stray dogs in the area, which can easily join the fight if you stumble upon them. If this happens, take them out as soon as possible so that you can focus on the noble.

• The Sanguine Noble (Invader) can be found northwest of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, in western Mountaintops of the Giants.
