Description

Red-Hot Whetblade is a Whetblade that grants a choice of affinity upgrade to weapon. Can be used to add a Fire or Flame Art affinity to physical or flame-type Ashes of War when applying it to a Weapon.

Location

You’ll first need to defeat Starscouraged Radahn. To do this you must first visit Redmane Castle and beginn the festival. After beating Radahn return to the festival and go down the path you went to fight him. While the route is blocked, you can speak with the NPC who started the festival. Exhaust all of their dialogue and then go to the Chamber Outside the Plaza site of grace. Now Redmane Castle will be fully available.

Inside Redmane Castle, when the Radahn Festival is inactive, travel to the Chamber Outside the Plaza site of grace. From here head to the three flamethrower enemies move to the right. You should encounter another flamethrower. Head past them and towards the tower. An Iron Maiden will attack you as you head towards it. Once inside you’ll find the whetblade.
