Caelem Ruins Caelid

Description

The Caelem Ruins are found in Caelid via the Caelid Highway on the west end of the region, near the telescope.

The ruins are filled with burning Putrid Corpses that shamble towards targets and explode kamikaze-style. There are also several Maneuverable Flamethrowers roaming the ruins. These are incredibly dangerous and should be fought on horseback to more easily dodge their streams of fire. You can aim for their operators riding behind the flamethrowers who are easier to kill than the flamethrowers themselves. Getting rid of the operators also gets rid of the flamethrowers.

On the eastern side of the ruins, you can find a set of stairs leading underground to the Mad Pumpkin Head duo boss fight. Defeating these two awards 6,300 Runes and allows access to the treasure room at the back, where you can find a chest containing the Visage Shield.
