You will find two Erdtree Avatars in this area, there are no Tear drops from these foes so feel free to run by them.

Take your time as your time as you explore this area, a lot of the enemies here are some of the strongest in the game.

Make sure you’re well prepared once you reach the bottom, the boss here is arguably the toughest.
