The Atlantic Offices is a building located in the Glowing Sea area of the Commonwealth. Initially infested with feral ghouls, it later becomes an Enclave field headquarters under Major Elias’s command.

• The building has three above-ground floors and two below-ground floors.
• Access to the central third floor is through a hole in the northern wall, with stairs leading down to the second floor.
• The first floor has an elevator leading up to the fifth floor and contains access to the roof.
• The fourth floor can be reached through a hole in the eastern wall and features the elevator shaft and other areas.

• Following the Next Gen Patch, the feral ghouls are replaced by an Enclave detachment led by Major Elias.
• The building is fortified, and Enclave troops have set up a com tower on the roof.
• Major Elias is the focal point of the quest “Echoes of the Past,” and confronting him is necessary to complete the location.

• Fusion core in the generator on the roof.
• Colonel uniform worn by Major Elias.
• Hellfire and X-02 power armor worn by Enclave soldiers.

• The building has three accessible floors.
• Entrance through the street door leads to a lobby area with a receptionist desk and an elevator.
• The elevator takes you to an upper floor with a ruined office guarded by a hostile Protectron.
• A collapsed floor and a stairwell provide access to a middle floor below, where a steamer trunk is located.
• Both upper and middle floors feature Novice-locked Boston Bugle article terminals containing pre-War news.
• A wooden door on the upper floor leads to a ruined exterior office with a vantage point for MILA and a Novice-locked floor safe.

• Vault-Tec lunchbox: Found on the upper floor in a blue crate.

Weathervane:
A Pint-Sized Problem (Creation Club)

• Terminals reference Fallout 3’s Raven Rock and Fallout 2’s Control Station Enclave.
• An article in the terminals mentions Boston’s baseball team’s lack of World Series wins since 1918 and predicts a game on October 23, 2077.

• On PC and Xbox One, the door to the building may malfunction, not allowing entry. Leaving the area and returning can resolve the issue.

The garden terrace, located in the Financial District of Boston in 2287, showcases the remnants of a once-elegant rooftop terraced garden. In its current state, it features a fountain surrounded by dead grass, old lamps, and damaged trees. Accessible through the roof exit of Haymarket Mall or by traversing along the elevated highway from the third-floor exits of Commonwealth Bank and the Congress Street garage, the terrace presents a scenic yet perilous environment. Be prepared for a confrontation with a leveled deathclaw upon arrival, with the possibility of encountering two at higher levels.

Northeast Corner and Monorail Connection:
The northeast corner of the terrace links to a broken monorail that has crashed through an adjacent apartment building. Access to the monorail cars is facilitated by scaffolding on the side of the building. The cars hold various items, including suitcases, a duffle bag, and a steamer trunk. Notably, the front car serves as the vantage point for the Weathervane quest and houses a hostile Protectron.

Exploring the Building:
The nearby building, inaccessible to the deathclaw, can be entered through its rooftop door. Within, five accessible floors can be explored either by dropping through holes in the floors or using an elevator connecting the top and lowest floors. Loot opportunities include a steamer trunk on the top floor, a cooler on the second-lowest floor, and an Advanced-locked safe partially buried in the rubble on the lowest floor.

• Stealth Boy: Found on the second-lowest floor of the apartment building, next to a TV.

• Weathervane: Involves the broken monorail located within the area.

• Sometimes, when the deathclaw(s) respawn, they may be found hanging on the east side of the building between two railings, seemingly unaware of the player character’s presence. They will become hostile upon approach or when shot at.

Layton Towers, situated in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston in the year 2287, serves as a prominent location in Fallout 4’s post-apocalyptic landscape.

Originally a tenement block, Layton Towers now stands as a fortified stronghold controlled by raiders, embodying the struggle for control and resources in the wasteland.

Comprising two towers interconnected by an internal walkway on the fifth floor, Layton Towers presents a formidable challenge for explorers. Accessible via three entrances—the front entrance to the western tower, a roof entrance for each tower—the towers are home to approximately a dozen raiders both inside and outside. The layout includes various obstacles and challenges, including locked safes, debris blocking stairwells, and hidden loot caches.

• Among the notable loot within Layton Towers is a fusion core located on the first floor of the western tower, housed within a generator.

• A misspelled sign reading “Layton Towers Appartments” is located on the south side of the basketball court.
• Evidence of raider activity and struggles can be observed throughout, such as a deceased raider on the third floor of the western tower, apparent from a Jet overdose.
• A unique detail on the fourth floor of the western tower includes a television set with bullet holes forming a happy face on the screen.

• An issue reported on PC platforms involves the roof entrance door to the eastern tower, where players may inadvertently fall through the mesh of the tower, resulting in character death. However, saving and reloading the game typically resolves this issue, restoring functionality to the entrance door.
