Where to Find the Legendary Don Woolie¶
To get started, you will need to head to Ginormosia and to the Crickneck Canyon region. It is found towards the north-northwest of the map, just north of the West Greatgut Plains. Once you have gotten to the region, you will first want to locate the tower in the northwestern end, not too far from the water. Activating the tower will remove the fog covering the region on the map. However, just getting here won’t make it easy to spawn the enemy.
In order to do that, you will need to increase the rank of the region, done through the tower. This will require you to accrue points, done by doing just about anything in the region, like killing enemies or looting treasure chest. However, the quickest way of increasing the area rank is by completing the events that pop up. Usually, they involve defeating a set of monsters, or doing a specific gathering challenge, like breaking a bunch of ores/gems. Do these quick enough and you’ll be rewarded with upwards of 100 points. If you see a race one, then you can easily complete that by defeating the rabbit to get 200 points.
Rank 2 requires 100 points, while Rank 3 needs 1,000 points. Interact with the tower and choose the Area option, then navigate to the second/third tabs to redeem the points you’ve earned. Thankfully, you don’t actually lose the points here, as they stay and will continue to accumulate. Once you reach Rank 3, you’re set to try and spawn Don Woolie. The easiest way we’ve found is to simply change the rank of the area, then check the map to see if a blue-colored event spawned. Despite the game saying Rank 3, we’ve had it spawn when switching to Rank 2, so keep checking the map.

If you see the blue-colored event on the map, it will be just north of the little village you can find to the west. This is the little village that has a statue of an animal, with steps on the side, as well as a treasure chest underneath its mouth. It will have a shop there, as well as Golem that gives you some side quests, once you complete the initial task.
Legendary Don Woolie Boss Guide¶
There’s not much to say about this battle, as it’s pretty simple. Other than some melee strikes, the only real potentially hurtful move is a beam shockwave it sends in a straight direction. This can sometimes go through your Buddies, so you definitely want to keep track of this at all times. Note that once you bring its health down to about a little above half for the first time, it enters a Heated State, where Don Woolie will heal. It only does this once and you can’t deal damage while it’s healing, so revive anyone during this time, if needed.

Legendary Don Woolie Rewards¶
For defeating the Legendary Don Woolie, you should receive two key items from it, the Legendary Don Horn and the Legendary Don Meat. Both of these are items that will be used in various recipes in endgame equipment, especially the horn. In fact, if you wish to craft everything at least once, you’re going to need a good number of the horns. In addition to the above two items, Don Woolie will usually drop a chest with a piece of equipment.
