After completing the main quest "The Crystal's Curse" you'll gain the Ramuh Eikon. Purchase the Lightning Rod ability, then find a miniboss (or any suitably durable and aggressive enemy). This video shows how to bait the Knight of the Lasting Dark into hitting the Lightning Rod three times, earning the Rod of Redemption trophy in the process.
