Another day, another Shrine Climb. You should know the drill by now, look for Torii gates which will lead to the start of the shrine, which is in such disrepair that you’ll need to do plenty of platforming to reach the summit. Pray at the shrine at the summit to obtain the Charm of Amenowakahiko - this page will provide instructions for reaching the summit of the Blooming Ridge Shrine Climb in Ghost of Yotei.

While following the Nupur River through Serpent’s Pass, look south until you find a Torii gate.
Blooming Ridge Shrine Location¶
The Blooming Ridge Shrine Shrine can be found along the northeastern edge of the Yotei Grasslands, in the “Serpents Pass” area connecting Yotei Grasslands to the Tokachi Range. Just follow the Nupur River northeast and keep your eyes to the south until you find a white Torii, marking the start of the Shrine Climb.
From the first Torii gate, pass between two large rock formations and a second Torii gate to find some stairs,
which will lead to the ruins of the normal approach, and the start of the platforming segment.
Blooming Ridge Shrine Summit Directions¶
Head over to the first Torii gate and follow the trail beyond it, through a gap between two massive rocks, which leads to an enclosed field of white flowers. Head over to another white Torii and pass through it, take up some stairs up to the left to reach the start of this Shrine Climb’s platforming segment. Here are directions to help you reach the summit:
- Follow the white Torii gates and go up some stairs to the stairs ahead.
- After ascending the stairs you’ll reach a gap. Jump, grapple and swing across using a tree branch to reach the far ledge.
- Climb up the cliff, turn right and jump across a tree branch onto another ledge.
- Turn right and jump and grapple onto a branch. Climb up to the ledge above.
- Continue forward, squeeze through a cleft in the rocks, and enter a cave.
- Climb a cliff to the right.
- Cross a beam over a pool of water in the cave.
- Turn right and exit the cave.
- Jump onto a branch and from there jump onto a grassy ledge.
- Jump and grapple to reach a higher ledge across a gap.
- Jump towards a tree branch, grapple and swing off it towards a tree stump, then jump and grapple again to climb up using the tree stump to reach a distant ledge.
- Turn left, climb a ledge, then climb a cliff.
- Go up two more ledges and climb across a cliff face to reach a distant ledge.
- Jump toward a tree branch, grapple and swing off it, then climb a cliff to reach another far ledge.
- Continue forward and jump towards a climbable cliff. Ascend to the top.
- Turn right a bit to find a tree branch growing out of the cliff. Jump towards it, then grapple and swing over to another grassy ledge.
- Turn right and cross a fallen tree.
- Turn left and jump onto a climbable cliff. Climb to the top.
- Turn right to find a tree stump above you. Jump and grapple onto it, then climb up to the ledge it’s on.
- Climb a cliff ahead to reach a higher ledge.
- Continue forward to reach a cliff. Jump at it then grapple onto a tree trunk, then climb up onto the ledge above.
- Climb up two ledges to find a tree growing out of low ground. Jump and grapple onto the tree’s branch, swing across, then jump onto a climbable cliff. Ascend it to reach a ledge.
- Scale two ledges to the left, then cross a rope over another gap.
- When you reach a tree at the far end of the rope, turn left and jump towards a branch. Grapple and swing across to reach another, lower ledge.
- Continue forward to find two tree branches growing out of the cliff. Jump onto the first one, then jump towards the second, grapple onto it, and swing over to a climbable cliff.
- Pass under a Torii gate and follow the path through the white flowers beyond to reach the summit.
Pray at the shrine on the summit to obtain the Charm of Amenowakahiko.
Charm of Amenowakahiko¶
Pray at the shrine atop the summit and you’ll obtain the Charm of Amenowakahiko, a major charm that gives Atsu a “moderate chance for headshots to earn Spirit”. You can find a tree stump nearby that’ll take you back to the base of the Shrine Climb, or you can just fast travel, as you prefer.
