To unlock the Swordbearer achievement you’ll need to put some serious timing into the Smithing crafting system of Bannerlord. This is a fairly basic crafting system compared with most other games, so it’s easy enough to master, but you’ll need to put the time in to reach a level where you can craft tier 6 weapons. You’ll start off with basic recipes such as hardwood and charcoal, but as you increase your skill level you’ll be able to use different types of metals to increase your XP gain while Smithing. The crafting system is incredibly simple so you don’t need to worry about gaming it, but try not to neglect this during your campaign! Some of the crafted swords that you can produce will be among the best weapons in the game.
