Synopsis
EVE meets the devoted believer Francis once again.
He says that he received news about his brother while buying items from Scavengers; apparently, evidence of him escaping Eidos 7 alive was found in the Great Desert.
Francis’ brother is still family to him, even though he’s a sinner. He asks EVE for help in tracking down the missing man as he hopes for “guidance from god”.
EVE follows the information Francis gave her and investigates the ruins used by refugees in the Great Desert. Felix apparently heard the “voice of truth,” which led him to follow its source. EVE finds an abandoned drop pod while tracking him, and reaches a location near 
Abyss Levoire.
Before passing away, Felix, half-insane, repeated that he had found the true god with the voice of truth, and that he misses his brother Francis dearly. A legacy device is found near the body, but it is too damaged for any meaningful data to be acquired from it.
The case remains unsolved. EVE returns to Francis to tell him of his brother’s fate, and the news is met with despair. The words of someone who has lost their mind can’t be considered blasphemous, according to Francis. Unsure why 
Mother Sphere let this happen to his brother, and why he has to suffer through this anguish, Francis is dejected.
All he can do is mutter to himself, hoping for light to shine on this world once again.
