Thank you for your warning. I didn’t know the jeweler and his wife, but it’s a real tragedy what happened to them.

Still, are you sure that what you wrote is true? I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but I can hardly believe it… He always seems so… civilised. In control. And we both know you’ve argued before.

Besides, with the wedding on the way and everything, I simply don’t see us leaving the farm. I will, of course, be cautious. But perhaps it’s not as bad as you think, my friend.
