Sod it all. We will not be pushed around anymore. I don’t care whether it’s men or devils that come to ask their due.

It’s my work, my land, my family. If they come to cut us down, so be it. We’ve been crawling with our faces in the mud long enough. I’m tired. I’d rather rest in my grave than toil for a new monster.
