Father,
I am so sorry. Things may not have ended this way if I had returned sooner. If only you had lived a few weeks longer under my care…
We have a new knyaz now, one who can heal every illness, even the plague. His rule is not perfect. Some sacrifices must be made… Yet I would gladly make them if it could bring you back.
I simply miss you, Father.
