Some people came by the other day. Soldiers. At first I was surprised, but quite pleased – haven’t had a guest in many, many days. My mood quickly soured, though.

They said they served the new Knyaz, Brencis. I stay out of the worldly affairs, but even I’ve heard about those ‘vrakhiri’. Supposed to be real monsters. As in – not human. Not sure if I believe it all. Skender was a monster too, but he ate, fucked, and shat just like the rest of us.

Anyway, the soldiers said I needed to go. Leave my hut behind and find a new place, because they ‘established a camp nearby and need to secure the perimeter’. Don’t know what a ‘perimeter’ is, but somehow my little home is an obstacle now.

Well, fuck them. I’ve lived here for a few years now, so I’m not going anywhere.
