These lizards will be the death of us, but the price their skins can fetch, it’s simply life changing. Especially if we somehow managed to bag the big one.

Erden’s been watching them for days, he managed to spot them hunting their prey. Most of them, they’re what you’d expect of a lizard, just bigger. But the brood mother (or so we suspect), she’s a different story. She lunged at a wolf the other day and all but squashed it with her body. Whatever had the misfortune of being anywhere near her landing spot was flattened, too. We need to figure out a smart way to approach her before we try anything there.

If you’re reading this note and not talking to us, we’re likely out in the field. Grab your equipment and come find us - just be careful, the slimy bastards like to lurk under the mud.
