Limar,

It’s getting agitated. I’m not sure I’m doing this right. I have a feeling I should keep the door properly locked, just in case. If you need anything from my home, find the lute in the shop and give it a good shake – I put a spare key inside.

Fingers crossed you’ll just come to scavenge in my pantry as usual, not to see if my rotting corpse is lying about. But Limar, while I jest, if something does happen to me, you have to take care of the thing. Do not leave it alone.

And keep the shop going, too. I’ve put far too much work into running the place to watch it go to ruin from beyond.
