Buried Past
Description
I realise that I hardly know my father – even though I’ve known him my whole life. He hardly ever talks about his past… But it seems like it’s catching up with him.
Guide
When you return to
Volk, you can ask him about the puke outside, this will lead to an optional task to find his knife. Look on the roof to find it (can only be reached at night). Once you defeat Volk in the duel, you’ll get the
Artery Strike Manual and can then start the treasure hunt.
Next, head to the Giant’s Paws
Shrine to the southwest of Parlita and examine the shovel, then walk south a little to find a place where you can dig. You’ll obtain the Legendary
Pieter’s Garb and a clue on where to go next.
Head to Maragir next and speak with monks at the monastery and show the book to the monk. After the scene, return to Volk and you’ll need to wait another day where you’ll find him missing. Go inside the house to find
Volk’s Sword, then read the letter to bring the quest to an end.
