My father has a list of chores ready for me, as usual. I better get to it.
Guide
After meeting with Anca, return home and brew the herbal recipe. If you follow the Instructions from Anca correctly (hot water and three pinches of herbs), Coen’s mother, Esme, survives the encounter with the Vrakhir at the Blood Mass.
If you fail to brew the herbs before the Blood Mass, or don’t follow the instructions correctly, Esme is killed during the sequence.

Take your clothes out of the storage chest
I need to get ready for the day and dress up.
Pick up your sword
I should get my sword – it’s a dangerous world out there.
Blood Mass is tonight – and Knyaz Brencis and his retinue will be at the church to oversee the collection of tithes. We’re worried about Mum. Vrakhiri don’t look kindly on the weak.

We trained and my father finally spilled the beans. There’s talk of rebelling against the vrakhiri. My father is on the fence about joining… But he’ll have to commit one way or another soon.

In the end we didn’t have the time to cross blades – Father wasn’t pleased.
Sara was waiting for me at Svartrau Plaza. Now I have to follow her to the manumit hideout, where they will vote on whether to let me join their ranks. Have I not done enough already?
Find out what happened to the missing scouts
The manumits finally accepted me into their ranks, and before long, Crake handed me my first task. A group of his scouts went missing in Svartrau and he wants me to find out what happened to them.
Seek out the house with the pink façade in Neustadt
Crake assigned me my first task – to investigate the lookout post where the missing scouts were last seen. It’s located in Neustadt, in the attic of a house with a pink façade.
Search for clues inside the house
I found the house with the pink façade. From what Crake told me, the scouts’s lookout point was in the attic.
Take a closer look at the blood trace
I noticed traces of blood just under the scouts’s lookout. Best take a closer look.
Follow the blood trail
The traces of blood continue along the street. I should follow them to see whose blood it is – the scouts’s or their enemy’s?
Inspect the damaged wall
I found deep cut marks on the wall next to where the blood trails lead. I should investigate further.
Find your way inside the warehouse
The trail led to an old warehouse in the Middens, a neighbourhood abandoned after the plague. The doors are barricaded, and the windows boarded up. I must find another way inside.
Check if anyone survived
I found the missing scouts, but they had been brutally massacred. I still need to check if anyone has survived.
Speak with the scout
One of the scouts is still breathing. I must ask him what happened here before it’s too late.
Look for catalysts
To compel the dead scout’s soul, I need to find items that once held meaning for him.
Question the scout’s corpse
All four of the missing scouts died before I could reach them. There’s not much left of their bodies, except for the one in the yard. I can try to compel his soul – maybe he will tell me what happened here?
Raise your notoriety to Notorious or higher
Crake deemed that I haven’t done enough to be trusted. I must prove myself further against Brencis before he allows me to join the manumit ranks.
Search for clues in the attic
The scouts’s lookout post was located in the attic. I must search it for clues about what happened to them.
Kill the soldiers
While investigating the abandoned warehouse, I stumbled upon a group of soldiers. Are they here to clean up the monster’s mess? They won’t tell me anyway. This can only end in blood.

I have failed the manumits. That path is closed to me now.

I have decided to storm Greifberg without the manumits. I don’t need them anymore.
The missing manumit scouts are all dead, killed by some sort of a terrifying monster. And apparently Brencis is building an army of these creatures. Crake must hear about this at once.
No signs of the guards. We can move forward to investigate the church.
Open church gate from the other side
Something is blocking the church gate. I can go over the top, but Crake and Sara need to enter in a more traditional way.
Investigate the churchyard
We need to search the churchyard for clues. There must be something here that will help us figure out this whole mess.
Inspect the monster’s remains
Boyan’s ramblings were no fever dream – the creature is real, a bloody winged monstrosity. Perhaps its remains will provide some clue as to how it came into existence.
I discovered an inscription clutched in the monster’s jaws. It’s written in a language I don’t recognise, but maybe Crake will know what it means.
Check the belltower doors
That black trail leads to the belltower doors. I wonder what hides behind them…
Defeat the monster
While investigating a lead in St. Teotim’s church, we were attacked by a winged monster. We must kill this abomination.

I was never able to get to the bottom of this mess with Brencis’s monsters.
Judging from the woodcut, Silas had his workshop in Altenmarkt. I should meet with Crake soon to look for it.
Ask the townsfolk about Silas
We have located the street where Silas kept his workshop, but we still need to find the exact building. Let’s ask around.
Find the house by the stone arch
An old lady pointed us to a house that may have once belonged to Silas. We need to check it out with Crake.
Search inside the house
We entered the house that matched the description. I’m still not sure if Silas actually lived here, so we need to search the place thoroughly.
Inspect the chimney
The only thing that stands out here is the chimney. I should take a closer look at it.
Examine the floor next to the chimney
The floorboards next to the chimney seem different from the others. Perhaps they can be moved?
Enter the basement
We found a hatch under the floorboards. I guess it hides the entrance to the basement.
Search the basement
There doesn’t seem to be much in the basement, but still – maybe Silas hid something here?
Check where the passage leads
We discovered a secret passage hidden behind a bookcase. It leads further underground.
Search the ruins
Ancient ruins, right beneath Svartrau! This must be where Silas carried out his disgusting experiments.
Search the laboratory
There’s no mistaking it. This was Silas’s workshop, or rather his laboratory. But it seems someone was here before us. Were they searching for his research notes as well?
Search the deeper ruins
Those thieves dropped a page from Silas’s book. Maybe we can still catch them, or at least find out where they took the rest.
Inspect the body
Something massacred this man. I might still find clues on his body, or maybe even the stolen book itself.
I have defeated the monster, but Crake is wounded. I must guide him safely out of the ruins.
Find the yellow house by the stone arch
Henrik, a merchant from Altenmarkt, pointed us to a house that may have once belonged to Silas. We need to check it out with Crake.

I have located Aurelius’sTower. Now I need to find a way to get inside.
Search the tower
The book should be somewhere within the tower. I need to look for it.
Show Marat the book
I found the book! And it contains a hex that will allow me to weaken the gargoyles! I must show this to Marat.
Ask Marat how preparations are going
Since we know how to defeat the gargoyles, it’s time to ask Marat if the manumits are ready to march on Greifberg Castle.
Acquire Life Lock hex from Silas’s book and learn it.
I now hold Silas’s notes, containing a hex to weaken the gargoyles. I must learn it yet.

Neberu the Arbiter told me many things… and I’m still in the dark. There’s so much about this world I don’t know. If I have to leave Vale Sangora, presumably forever, to meet them – so be it…
Iorgu’s pig ran away from her pen, and I was asked to bring her back.
Guide
Speak to Iorgu outside his farm to discover that a pig is missing. Head northwest to find a small camp by the river and speak to Kuno. Even though I lived in Laslea my whole life, the area around it still held many secrets. Some of them buried deeper than others…
Guide
Speak to Gavril at his farm to find out Lazar is missing. Head northwest to Blackwater Hollow and follow the tracks to some wolves. Defeat the wolves, go into the hole, and head southwest until you drop into the shallow water. Go through the narrow gap, and you’ll find Lazar at the back. Continue south to end up at some ruins, and follow the footprints to a room with a sarcophagus.
If you examine the murals on the wall around the room, you’ll get some lore and, more importantly, information on the mystery woman’s bracers. Examine the sarcophagus at the end to loot the bracers and other loot.
On the eastern side of the room, go through the small tunnel and head north. In this room, you’ll encounter The Forgotten Guardian. Defeat it and loot it for some loot before leaving the room via the exit in the northeast. When you exit, walk Lazar back, and you’ll complete the quest.
It seems Ambrus has tired of my interrupting his plans – I should see what he intends to do about it.

Find a way to enter the locked room
There is a locked room in Xanthe’s keep with weird humming coming from within. According to the mad servant – no one is allowed to enter. Therefore, I must.
Enter the locked room
I have enough lanterns to open the door to the locked room upstairs. It’s time to see what’s inside.
I’m back home? But how? It’s impossible. I don’t understand!

There’s this abandoned building on Carpenter Row in Svartrau… and underneath, there are ancient, long-forgotten ruins. Who knows what kind of treasures are hidden inside?

Will-o-the-wisps, attracted by our pain, have appeared around the swamp to guide us to our treasure. We should follow them… but carefully.
Defeat the enemies
The wisps led us into ambush. It won’t kill us, but it sure is annoying.
Defeat the enemies
Again, ambush! The little pests are having too much fun with this seeing how we’re already cooperating with them.
Follow the wisps
Will-o-the-wisps, attracted by our pain, have appeared around the swamp to guide us to our treasure. We should follow them… but carefully.
Defeat the lizards
Those tricky bastards led us into a trap! Now we need to deal with hungry bog lizards.
Investigate the area
The wisps led us to a surreal clearing in the bog, changed by some corruptive force. We should see what has happened here.
Defeat the hellhounds
Another ambush! The wisps are toying with us. We need to get rid of the dogs.
Follow the wisps
Will-o-the-wisps, attracted by our pain, have appeared around the swamp to guide us to our treasure. We should follow them… but carefully.
Investigate the rockslide
The wisps led us to a suspicious rockslide. Something is off – we need to take a closer look.
Explore the sunken crypt
The wisps have now led us to an old crypt sunken in the bog. Could it be Kallias’s lair? We need to investigate the place.
Defeat the undead
The crypt turned out to be swarming with the undead, kept animated by Kallias’s corruption. We need to dispose of them.
Inspect the sarcophagus
We found what appears to be Kallias’s resting place. We need to look inside the sarcophagus.
Defeat the spirits
The sarcophagus was empty. And now the room is swarming with spirits from Hell that want us dead.
Explore the hidden cave
Right when we thought we hit a dead end, we uncovered a hidden cave connected to Kallias’s crypt. Could his research be in there?
I realise that I hardly know my father – even though I’ve known him my whole life. He hardly ever talks about his past… But it seems like it’s catching up with him.
Guide
When you return to Volk, you can ask him about the puke outside, this will lead to an optional task to find his knife. Look on the roof to find it (can only be reached at night). Once you defeat Volk in the duel, you’ll get the Artery Strike Manual and can then start the treasure hunt.
Next, head to the Giant’s Paws Shrine to the southwest of Parlita and examine the shovel, then walk south a little to find a place where you can dig. You’ll obtain the Legendary Pieter’s Garb and a clue on where to go next.
Head to Maragir next and speak with monks at the monastery and show the book to the monk. After the scene, return to Volk and you’ll need to wait another day where you’ll find him missing. Go inside the house to find Volk’s Sword, then read the letter to bring the quest to an end.
Volk lost his precious knife – he waved it around in the dark and it slipped out of his hand. Maybe it landed in some bushes? Or on his hovel’s rooftop? Let’s see if I can find it.
Volk asked me to board up the window because it gets cold at night. Shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.
Defeat the soldiers
I’ve been betrayed – and now need to fight for my life.

I found out that my father had a friend – if I can call him that – one Volk. I warmed up to him, tended to his needs. But it seems he didn’t want to keep on living like this, reliant on my charity, so he packed up and left – to go where? I’m not sure he had a destination in mind – only decided to dance with Lady Luck one last time.

I found a man who might’ve known my father, living in a derelict hut all by his lonesome. He attacked me on sight – and I ended up draining his blood… I will never know who he was or what relationship he had with Pieter.

The sanzhani Tsarina told me that she’ll make it possible for me to send letters to Lunka – and get answers from her. But first, I need to lend the Tsarina a hand.

You must wait a day to receive a response from Lunka. The letter will be added to your inventory under the Quests Items tab.
An additional day is added until Bencris’s Coronation as a reward for completing this quest.

Help the sanzhani
If I want to message my sister, I need to help the burrow-dwelling sanzhani solve their own conundrum first.
I’ve asked Lunka about our father, to see how he’s holding up. Now all I can do is wait for the sanzhani to bring me her response.
Wait for Lunka’s answer about Greifberg’s defences
I’ve asked Lunka about Castle Greifberg’s defences. Maybe she’ll be able to tell me something helpful. It was worth a shot, regardless. The sanzhani should bring me her response soon.
I’ve asked Lunka about Brencis, about what he’s up to. I need to know if my family’s involved in his plans. The sanzhani should bring me her response soon.
I found what looks like the house Heile described. Tonis should be living here, but it seems to have been abandoned for a good while. What happened in this place?
Collect three shiny teeth from dead human enemies
The sanzhani, living in the forest burrow, asked me to bring them three spotless teeth. Tall order, but with some luck, I could probably find them on my dead enemies… ugh.
Talk to the sanzhani Tsarina
I should return to the burrow and talk to the sanzhani Tsarina.
Heile’s older brother, Tonis, is dead. I should let the girl know…
Follow the lights
Suspicious lights have appeared on my path, marking the mushroom fairy rings… as if trying to lead me somewhere? I could follow them to see what’s going on.
I found a wolves’s den – and there’s a body inside it…

Anca says she found something interesting in the books we took from the convent – something that could help me with my quest. I should ask her about that when I have the time.
Anca isn’t comfortable setting out in search of the Font right now. I need to get back to her another day, before noon. That’ll give us enough time to explore.
Find the lake Enolf mentioned
First step towards the Font of Life – we need to find the lake mentioned in Enolf’s notes.
Anca found references to something called the ‘Font of Life’ – and it’s supposed to be somewhere up in the mountains. We need to make sense of Enolf’s clues in order to find it.
Follow the streams upriver
Alright, the Font lies up one of the streams – but which? There are three to follow and check on. It’s going to be trial and error, I guess.
Reach the ruins
I realise Enolf might’ve referred to some ruins I’ve already stumbled upon. I need to lead Anca there.
Check out the ruins
We stumbled upon some ruins. Maybe they’re connected to the Font?
Follow the path leading through the ruins
Looks like we’re on the right track! There’s a passageway leading through the ruins – maybe that’s how we get to the Font.
Is this it? Have we reached the Font? I should talk to Anca and see what she thinks.
Investigate the ruins
Time to look around, figure out what went on in this place.
Find a way inside
The original entrance to the complex is collapsed – but maybe there’s another way in?
Enter the ruins
I found a passage leading inside the ruined complex. It’s going to be tight… But I think we can squeeze through.
Inspect the painting
There are some old murals here – maybe they’ll offer us some clues as to what the Font really is.
Explore the ruins
This is definitely the right place – the Font is somewhere within this complex. Time to go look for it.
Investigate the chamber using Focus Mode
Looks like we’re stuck – the door to the corridor leading further down seems stuck shut. But let’s look around – maybe I’ll figure out a way to open it.
Anca asked me to clear the ruins, so she can wait for me in safety.

We solved Enolf’s riddle and found the ruins he wrote about. The Font must be somewhere here… But getting to it will likely be an entirely new adventure.
2
I was craving for blood, couldn’t control myself and… Oh God. Anca is dead.
3
No time to see this through – I’m off to confront Brencis.
4
Oh, no, no, no. I left Anca behind in the ruins – and now she’s dead. Something must’ve crawled out of the rubble and killed her. Shit!
The Font of Life is deeper down the ruined complex – we know that for sure now. We also know that in order to reach it, we’ll have to pass some sort of trials.
Guide
If you choose to use the Font, you will unlock The Font of Life perk that slowly regenerates health in human form.
In order to go deeper into the ruins, I need to be able to cast hexes – so I’ve got to come back during the daytime. Anca said she’d wait here – so I’d better check if there are any monsters about.
Complete the trials and exit the ruins
We’ve found the heart of the ancient ruin, and the trials awaiting within. We must complete them, and then leave, before this whole place collapses on our heads.
Investigate the idol
We’ve reached a dead end – but there’s an unsettling idol in the middle of the room, and I bet it’s there for a reason.
Withstand the trial
In order to proceed, I need to withstand pain… An awful lot of pain. I can do it!
Find a way forward
We’re stuck – the bridge leading ahead is collapsed. But I don’t give up easily – there must be a way around it.
Explore the hidden chambers
We got inside chambers which seem to have been hidden from those participating in the trials. Interesting… We need to find a way back to the main complex, though.
Investigate the inscribed tablet
Stuck again… But I bet the tablet with magic markings is key to finding a way forward. Let’s take a look at it.
Anca asked me to clear the ruins, so she can wait for me in safety.

I have a feeling something bad has happened in the woods by the peat bogs. Maybe I should take a closer look?
Guide
North of the Northern Foothills shrine is a tree snapped in half. Inspect it and follow the tracks northwest. Along the path, you’ll find a corpse and then a boot a bit later. Continue northwest and then go west a little to the riverbank, and you’ll find a corpse on the riverbed. Examine the corpse to find the Patrol letter on it. Afterwards, you’ll need to report to Zdislav, who can be found near the Blacksmith in town.

Guide
You must be on the “Where Loyalty Lies” quest, and Vlad must be alive up until this point. During the above quest, speak to Vlad and go for a drink with him. Eventually, you’ll end up in a fistfight. Defeat Drogo’s men and the quest will end.
Vladimir was badmouthing Drogos behind his back and some other manumits didn’t take kindly to that. I could help Vlad out, or let them teach him a lesson.

The most recent missing person was a man named Iancu. I found his body and told his friend Ciprian what happened. Ciprian was devastated, but at least now he knows the truth – and I hope one day he’ll be able to move on. For now, though, all I can do is let him grieve.

I got myself involved in one such missing person case, but decided not to investigate this matter any further. Unfortunately, I’ve got my own problems to solve right now.
3
The most recent missing person was a man named Iancu. I found his body in a cave. Iancu had a friend, Ciprian, but he will never know the truth – I drained him before he had the chance to find out.
4
I think I found one such person, a man killed and dragged to a cave by a voracious beast. I don’t know who that person was, but he met a gruesome end.
The plague made abandoned houses a common sight throughout Vale Sangora. But one such hovel caught my attention…
Guide
To learn how to plant the seeds in this quest, you will need to use Compel Soul, which can only be done during the daytime.
After growing and then harvesting the plant, you may be given the option to ask different people to brew a potion from it, depending on who you have met. Anca will do it for free; other Medics will charge 100 coins. The Razkovniche Elixir you receive is the same regardless.

Investigate the house and its surroundings using Focus Mode
At first glance, this building’s no different from all the others. But something tells me there’s more to it.
Plant the seed in the house
Inside the house I found the seeds of a mysterious blood-drinking plant called razkovniche, a supposed panacea. Are the legends true? If I want to find out, I’ll have to try and grow the plant myself.

Check on the plant
Inside the house I found the seeds of a mysterious blood-drinking plant called razkovniche, a supposed panacea. I planted the seeds and fed the razkovniche with my own blood. Some time has passed since then – and I think it’s a good idea to go and check on the plant.
Make a razkovniche potion
Using the seeds I found in the house, as well as a few drops of my own blood, I grew a plant called razkovniche, which – according to some – has wondrous healing properties. Now I need to make a potion out of it.

Ask the Silberstein medic to make the potion
I could ask the medic to help me with the potion. I don’t expect her to do it for free, but it may be worth it.
Find a corpse nearby and question it using Compel Soul
Maybe there’s someone – alive or dead – who could tell me more about what happened here.
Question the corpse using items of importance

In the end, though, I decided I don’t have time to dig deeper into the house’s secrets. There are more important matters waiting.
The uriashi left a few glyphs in the places they considered important. While travelling in the mountains, I should be on the lookout for those.

Someone died here – and the bodies were dragged deeper into the woods. Why? One way to find out.
Confront the bandits
The trail led straight to some bandits. Mystery solved… Or is it?
Return to the sanzhana
The bandits are no more – I wonder what the sanzhana will say to that.
Find out what the bandits were up to
These bandits I came across – they seemed to have had some sort of a secret. I wonder if I can find out what it was.
Follow the footsteps
The sanzhana talked about some bandits she’s in cahoots with… They can’t be far.

While in the mountains, I found an uriashi path leading towards one of their sacred places. Maybe I should make the climb?
Guide
As you approach the area, you’ll hear windchimes. Follow the trail to the top and inspect the various things there, including the footprints.
Continue up the mountain and head north to encounter a Ravenous Bear. Defeat the bear and search the small cave behind it and the wrist for an amulet. Head back to the bear and inspect the large boulder next to it (costs 2 time segments). This will give you the Ravenous Flask manual. Finally, inspect the knife nearby to complete the quest.

While wandering through a swampy piece of secluded land, I discovered something that caught my attention…
Guide
Follow the blood on the ground into the cave and defeat the Muhron. Collect the Mysterious Ring from the corpse, and the Letter from Father on the ground next to the body.
Take the ring to the general goods trader in southwest Silberstein (Svartrau City). After speaking with him, you need to wait until noon the next day for his shop to reopen. He will ask if you still have the ring. If you say yes, he offers to buy it from you as a reward, but this seems to grant no benefit other than the coin, so tell him you no longer have it if you want to keep it (and can bear the shame). Either way, the quest will end here.

Anca claims the forbidden books held at St. Tyna’s contain ancient wisdom I need in order to defeat the vrakhiri. Problem is, the convent isn’t the safe haven it used to be…
Anca told me to meet her at the old inn near St. Tyna’s – and we’ll go to the monastery together from there.
Make your way through the fog
This fog – it’s not natural, that’s for sure. We should stick together and watch each other’s backs as we approach St. Tyna’s.
Investigate the body
Travelling through this ungodly fog, we came across a fresh body. Might be a good idea to give it a look-over – and find out what dangers lurk here.
Open the convent gates
We managed to get to St. Tyna’s – and were surprised to hear voices coming from within. What’s going on? We need to open the gates and see for ourselves.
Investigate the dead nun
The nun – she’s dead, and yet she came after us. How’s it even possible? We need to take a closer look, see what we can learn.
Turns out the whole convent is infested with undead nuns. We managed to safely hide inside the refectory building – but what now? Anca suggested we take a closer look at the convent from the balcony before we decide anything.

The books are somewhere in the library – which Anca cannot safely access with all the undead nuns milling about. I need to figure out how to secure a safe passage for her.
Check out the chapel bells
From what I understand, the convent bells were used to inform the nuns what they were supposed to do. I wonder if I can use this to my advantage.
Now we know who brought the curse upon the convent – it was Anca’s old friend, Leonica. But now, there’s no talking to her – I need to put her down before she kills us both.
Leonica is dead – as it turns out, she was behind the evil that took over St. Tyna’s. Anca is browsing through her books now. I should look around the room and approach Anca when ready.

Guide
This quest is accepted from the Deacon, but you must be on the A Monk and a Saint quest to access it. Speak to the Deacon and ask about the crypt. Once again, he’ll tell you there is no crypt, but he will ask you to find his caretaker, Radu, who spent a lot of time in the almshouse, north of the Cathedral.
Go to the almshouse and speak to the nun to the right of the door, then go upstairs and speak to Stefan up there to the right. Clean his wound (1 Time) to find out about the abandoned wing. It wasn’t just one roof that suffered – I see others ahead have been damaged. Should be easy enough to follow and see where the vrakhir went – and why the roofs suffered for it.
See where the trail ends
The rooftop tracks ended, leading to what looks like an abandoned building.
Get inside the building
The vrakhir might be inside the building. Let’s see.
Defend yourself
The rumours were true. The rogue vrakhir is here and she’s out to get me!
Interrogate Nish
Lacra believes the uriashi might have important information about Brencis’s sire, but to get it, we need to access their village. Nish can tell us how – I have to figure out a way to make him talk.
Find a way to learn the location of the uriash village
The interrogation didn’t go as planned – Nish is dead and we still don’t know where the uriashi live. I have to find out from another source.
The uriash who knew the location of their village is dead. If we want to learn about Brencis’s sire’s whereabouts, I might need to speak to his corpse.
Find a source of information about the uriash village
The uriash Lacra had captured is dead, but he wasn’t the only person who knew where their village is. I’m sure I can find out the location from elsewhere and we can figure out where Brencis’s sire is.

1
We know our next step – we have to climb the mountain following the windchimes to reach the village and ask about Brencis’s sire.
2
Associating with the rogue vrakhir didn’t seem like the right thing to do. Too unpredictable – I can’t risk it.
3
Whatever happened with the vrakhir in Svartrau, I decided it didn’t concern me. My goal is clear – Brencis’s death. I don’t need any more detours.
We know where the uriash village is and how to get there. We should head on over there and ask their Elder about the whereabouts of Isbrand, Brencis’s sire. He may know the knyaz’s weaknesses we can use when we strike.
Guide
When you go to meet Lacra, head to the cave which you can access by starting west from the quest objective. Follow the mountain by keeping an eye on the guiding chimes to know you’re on the right path.
Once you reach the Uriashi, you will have some choices to make under a timer. The peaceful option is to drop your weapons, tell Lacra to come quietly, then tell everyone to shut up, this will lead to you being able to talk to the Matriarch. In the next scene, choose to do nothing when rocks are thrown at you to prove that you’re here peacefully.
The Matriarch will then lead you to the village where this quest ends.
Lacra suggested we feed before going up the mountain. She spotted a lonely man not far from her hideout – our perfect victim.
Feed on the victim
We found our prey. Time to feast.
Climb the mountain with Lacra following the windchimes
We know where to go – the uriash village is up the mountain and the path filled with guiding chimes.
Climb the mountain following the windchimes
Lacra wasn’t around – I was late. She might’ve gone ahead. But I know where to go – the uriash village is up the mountain and the path filled with guiding chimes.
Find the windchime
Something’s ringing through the air on this mountain path. A windchime? I’m curious. Where is it?
Follow the windchimes
We can hear the windchimes the uriashi set up to lead to their village. We should follow the sounds.
Win the duel
I took on the uriash guard’s challenge. If I win – we’ll get to go inside the village.
Follow the Elder
The uriash Elder agreed to tell us what happened to Isbrand. We ought to follow her to her hut.
Defeat the guards
Talking to the uriashi is pointless. Lacra went ahead to find the elder, I’ve got to deal with the guards. Then, we find Isbrand.
Lacra slaughtered the uriashi and I didn’t want to have anything to do with her, but perhaps I need to swallow the bitterness and take what allies I can get… Getting Brencis might be more important than principles.
We found Brencis’s maker in horrible shape – he couldn’t answer any of our questions. Lacra is trying to help him. Hopefully, soon he’ll be able to give us something helpful in defeating the knyaz.
Isbrand isn’t capable of talking to us. Our best bet is finding his memories and looking into them to see if there are any answers or clues lurking within.
Pass the gate
We must go through the gate and see what’s on the other side.
Enter the sandstorm
Lacra said the sandstorm ahead harbours one of Isbrand’s memories. We must go in.
Defeat the creatures
Our presence has drawn in hostile creatures of this plane. We must dispatch them before they kill us.
Enter the sandstorm
Another sandstorm rages by the echo of an ancient mansion. We must look inside it.
Defeat the wave of creatures
Another wave of enemies has emerged from the sands of the plane. We have to fight – and win. We can’t die here.
Enter the sandstorm alone
Whatever the sandstorm ahead is hiding, Lacra didn’t want me to see it.
Isbrand isn’t capable of talking to us. Our best bet is finding his memories and looking into them to see if there are any answers or clues lurking within.
Search for the second memory
Isbrand isn’t capable of talking to us. Our best bet is finding his memories and looking into them to see if there are any answers or clues lurking within.
Isbrand isn’t capable of talking to us. Our best bet is finding his memories and looking into them to see if there are any answers or clues lurking within.
Search for the last memory
Isbrand isn’t capable of talking to us. Our best bet is finding his memories and looking into them to see if there are any answers or clues lurking within.

We’ve found what we needed in Isbrand’s memories – we can use this knowledge to strike Brencis.

To get any information out of Isbrand turned out to be too difficult, perilous, and potentially futile. I decided to deal with Brencis without his or Lacra’s help.
According to Mert, a girl named Sara is the contact for the manumits. However, she may have already been captured by soldiers at the rendezvous point in the nearby woods.

Reach the rendezvous point
I found the bridge that the miller pointed out. Now, I must head southeast to reach the rendezvous point.
I have rescued Sara, and she has agreed to lead me to Crake.
Retrieve your weapons
The soldier at the gate of Stoneward Post confiscated my weapons. I need to retrieve them.

1
I spoke with Crake, though the meeting went rather differently than I had imagined. I must earn his trust if the manumits are to aid me against Brencis.
2
Sara was killed by the soldiers. She was my only tie to the manumits, so any chance I had to contact them died with her.
3
I wasn’t able to follow up on this clue and decided on another approach to challenge Brencis.
4
I found Sara… and then I fed on her. She was my only tie to the manumits, so any chance I had of contacting them died with her.
Mert was caught by the soldiers and taken to Stoneward Post for questioning. I need to speak with him, maybe help him get out of there… But it won’t be easy. The place is heavily guarded.
Guide
When speaking to Mert, if you “Give in to the hunger”, you will instantly fail the quest.
It’s disgusting what they did to poor Mert. I should at least try to free him from that damn cell, but I must find a way to get the keys to the cells. The overseer should have them.
The manumits. I’ve heard this name before – they are a group of rebels who challenge Brencis’s rule in the valley. Elusive and secretive, they won’t be easy to find… But if I manage to do it, perhaps we can join forces against a common enemy.

Getting in touch with the manumits has proven to be even harder than I thought. I am close, though – just need to dig a little deeper…

In the end, I never really got into contact with the manumits and found another way to challenge Brencis.
It’s time to infiltrate Greifberg. We’ll enter through a secret tunnel and strike at Brencis, while Catalin’s troops keep him busy with a false siege. The castle falls before dusk!

Inspect the tunnels
Marat’s scouts are nowhere to be seen. We must inspect the tunnels beneath the castle to ensure it’s safe to pass.
Reach the ladder
Marat’s scouts set up a ladder, so they should be somewhere nearby.
Check the rest of the tunnel
Marat’s scouts are dead. We need to check the rest of the tunnel and find out what killed them.
Xanthe’s blood slaves are the last thing standing between me and Brencis. I’ve come this far, I won’t let them stop me now.

We defeated Brencis, but Marat paid the ultimate price… He saved Catalin’s life by sacrificing his own. Now, Skender’s son is set to become the next ruler of Vale Sangora.
2
We defeated Brencis. Catalin is gone as well, which isn’t a loss in my book. I’m glad at least Marat lives to see his rebellion’s victory, though many of the manumits weren’t so lucky.
3
We’ve defeated Brencis. Now, Catalin is set to become the next ruler of Vale Sangora. Let’s hope he won’t tread in his father’s footsteps. I’m glad Marat lives to see his rebellion’s victory, though many of the manumits weren’t so lucky.

We defeated Brencis, but Marat paid the ultimate price. Catalin is gone as well, so what now? Who will become Vale Sangora’s next knyaz? Honestly, I don’t care. I just hope all the horrors and bloodshed are finally over.
I became a bloodthirsty monster against my will. Deaf to the voice of my reason, my hunger demands to be sated. I must answer its relentless call – whether I wish to or not.

Someone dug up the grave of Kvet, Crina’s grandson – and stole the little crucifix she placed by the boy’s body. I promised her I’d try to find the grave robber and retrieve the missing gift.
Guide
Search the grave and follow tracks to a broken shovel; investigate the broken shovel, head into the nearby house, then inspect something covered on the ground. This uses 1 TIME. A fight with Koste will happen no matter what you say. After the fight, talk to Vladimir, and choose your response.

I need to inspect the disturbed grave. Perhaps the robbers left some clues.
Search for additional clues using Focus Mode
I need to comb the area for clues. That’s how I’ll find the grave robber.
Track down the grave robber
The grave robber left a track of reddish soil. I’ve got to follow it if I want to find him.

Inspect the shovel
I found a shovel which might be connected to the robbery. But I won’t know for sure until I inspect it.
