The Mysterious Eighth Side Quests

In-game Description

Rotana has stayed behind to restore the spirits as described on the stelae. She believes the orb she gave you is one of these spirits, but she doesn’t know where to find any of the other orbs.

According to the stela, returning the spirits to the seven heroine statues will reveal the eighth.

Description

This quest is a follow up to The Heroines’ Secret.

After completing that quest, Rotana will head further into the Gerudo Shelter, leaving behind a Gerudo Orb. Grab it and follow her.

She will arrive in a chamber with 7 statues. Place the orb on the hand of the statue with the matching symbol.

Now this quest will begin proper.

From here, you need to locate the other 6 orbs. Please follow the Gerudo Orb link for their locations. Each time you bring a new orb to Rotana, you will receive a Blue Rupee.

Two of the orbs require completion of a quest: Dalia’s Game and Lost in the Dunes.

After placing all 7 orbs in the statues’ hands, Rotana will react to the ground shaking. If nothing happens, double check the symbols all match. Also, maybe try moving the orbs slightly.

The indent in the center will move to reveal a hidden chamber, where an 8th giant orb is located.

Carry this to the North Gerudo Ruins, nearby, specifically the north entrance of the Gerudo Sanctuary. Drop the giant orb into the hole to open the gate.

Now navigate to the endpoint of the sanctuary: The Statue of the Eighth Heroine Room. Feel free to loot the items. Once you’re done, inspect the stone tablet in front of the statue.

Finally, return to Rotana to report your findings. You’ll receive a Diamond.
