People of K'n-yan
Description
The people of K’n-yan are the masters of the city of Tsath, the subterranean city described in Zamacona’s manuscripts, and builders of many great wonders. Inheritors of a great tradition of scientific inquiry, they have gained such power over the flesh that even death is a condition long since studied and set aside.
They move through stone as through mist, rendering themselves unseen or insubstantial at will, and regard walls, distance, and time as minor inconveniences. The
Y’m-bhi are numbered among their lesser works: reanimated servitors fashioned from human remains and sustained by formulae stripped of all mercy. The K’n-yani no longer walk the surface except to enact their will, and gaze upon men as playthings to be toyed with and disposed of.
