"The Special Operation Has Failed"

October 1957. The special operation has failed. The Windscale infiltration seemed to have succeeded, but then there was a huge explosion. Now the British are walling off the area. We are trapped. Comrade Sergeant Kozlov found this cellar to hide in. We have requested extraction, but no response. Agravaine is on the outside. I am not sure they hear us. What the British have hidden here from the world is stupendous. And obscene. May God forgive them. I cannot.
