Elementals

Description

This arduous journey sometimes offers its moments of wonder. Like today, when an elemental suddenly appeared. This creature is fascinating and incredibly rare to encounter! I felt like a naturalist observing a being never before seen. I took the opportunity to observe and take notes:

This creature is of considerable size and though it can be damaged with hammers or similar weapons, these will not inflict maximum possible damage. Bladed weapons may prove more effective against them.

I’ve made some new and interesting observations, here they are:

Without bones, they can stretch their arms at will, extending the reach of their weapons without warning.

They also pick up and use pieces of armor to cover parts of their anatomy.

The Elemental is a truly fascinating creature. Here are some final notes:

They frequently shake violently, causing their armor pieces to shift. During this time, they also regain their stamina, and become exceptionally dangerous.

Interrupting their attacks is challenging, particularly their sudden and deadly sweeps. It is most effective to strike quickly and then retreat.
