The Ant’s Skull Plate is a Greatshield that scales with Strength. This shield causes poison buildup (50) and raises Immunity (50). It also features a hidden passive that makes it the best shield for repelling enemy weapon attacks.

• The Ant’s Skull Plate Shield can be found in a small room in Nokstella, Eternal City.

The Briar Greatshield is a Shield that scales with Strength. It is the same shield that Elemer of the Briar wields. It inflicts Bloodloss buildup (70) due to its thorns that have been wound around its frame.

• Reward for defeating Elemer the Briar at The Shaded Castle that can be found in the northern center of Altus Plateau.

The Crossed-Tree Towershield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Crossed-Tree Towershield Shield can be bought from the Nomadic Merchant West Altus Plateau, for a total of 3,800 Runes.

Crucible Hornshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength. It is the greatshield wielded by the Crucible Knights.

• The Crucible Hornshield can be dropped by a Lesser Crucible Knight (similar to the Crucible Knight in Stormhill Evergaol) that’s found walking around Siofra Aqueduct. Siofra Aqueduct is only accessible from Nokron and not Siofra River, hence why the area is considered a part of Nokron. To access it, you’ll need to do a bit of parkouring. First, find the Aqueduct-facing Cliffs Site of Grace, which is located up the cliff north of Hallowhorn Grounds. Then, you’ll be able to jump down to the ruins below and find the Lesser Crucible Knight nearby.

The Cuckoo Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strenth and gives significant magic damage resistance (70) as well as stability (Guard Boost 62).

• The Cuckoo Greatshield can be dropped from any Cuckoo Knight wielding the greatshield.

• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables.

The Distinguished Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Distinguished Greatshield can be purchased from Hermit Merchant at Hermit Merchant’s Shack for 5,500 Runes.

• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables

The Dragon Towershield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Dragon Towershield Shield can be found in Crumbling Farum Azula.
• From the Dragon Temple Rooftop Site of Grace, drop down and go down the ladder to the south. Continue all the way to the south until you reach an open area where a lightning dragon was/is present. From here head southeast to a small gazebo and just north of the gazebo is an area you can drop down to. Drop all the way down to the northeast until you reach a building. Travel through the building and up the ladder outside and head east where you will find a chest containing the Dragon Towershield, guarded by a Banished Knight.

The Dragonclaw Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength and Dexterity.

• The Dragonclaw Shield Shield is dropped by the Draconic Tree Sentinel, which can be fought at the Capital Outskirts.

The Eclipse Crest Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength. It provides a flat +50 boost to Immunity, Robustness and Focus. Please bnear in mind the new resistances will have to tick down if you swap to it.

• The Eclipse Crest Greatshield Shield can drop from Mausoleum Knights wielding it in Liurnia of the Lakes. It can also be farmed from the Knight in front of Black Knife Catacombs.

The Erdtree Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength and Faith.

• The Erdtree Greatshield Shield can be found by Killing Tree Sentinel Duo.
• Tree Sentinel Duo is a Foe Boss in Altus Plateau, guarding the doors to the the Outer Wall Phantom Tree grace. You must defeat both Tree Sentinels to earn this shield.

• Shield Skill: Golden Retaliation
• Skill Description: Ready the shield to unleash its protective incantation. This will dispel sorceries and incantations, retaliating with golden power.
• Ash of War damage scales with weapon upgrade level and not player stats.
• Cannot be infused with Ashes of War.

The Fingerprint Stone Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength. This greatshields weighs 29.0 and provides excellent protection.

• Located in the Subterranean Shunning grounds. Past the Altar where you fight the mini boss version of Mohg then travel down using the the stone tombstones to find the shield.

• The Gilded Greatshield Shield drops rarely from the Gilded Greatshield user who wields a Partizan at the Gatefront Ruins

• The Golden Greatshield Shield drops from Gold Dragon Cult Knight.
• It is also a rare drop from Leyndell Knights.

The Haligtree Crest Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Haligtree Crest Greatshield Shield has a chance to drop only from the Haligtree Knights wielding a greatsword and shield.
• These knights can only be found in the graveyard next to the church at the bottom of Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

The Icon Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength. The Icon Shield grants a passive HP regen bonus of 3 hit poitns per second, which cannot be raised through smithing. The passive HP regen on this Greatshield does not stack if dual wielded.

• Found inside a crumbling building at Woodfolk Ruins. Beware of the enemies inside.

• This shield cannot be infused with Ashes of War.
• It can be buffed with Magic & Consumables.
• This shield is a reference in appearance and function to the Adjudicator’s Shield from Demon’s Souls.

The Inverted Hawk Towershield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

The Inverted Hawk Towershield Shield drops from Fallen Hawks Soldiers. They can be found roaming outside the Nokron, Eternal City Grace.

• Skill Description: Brace behind shield before using bodyweight to ram foes while painting guarding stance. Weaker enemies will be shoved backwards, and can even be staggered.
• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables.

The Jellyfish Shield is a unique Greatshield that scales with Strength and Dexterity. This shield features the Weapon Skill Contagious Fury which lasts for 30 seconds and increases damage by 20%. However if you then two-hand the weapon the buff from jellyfish shield is removed. Although the Lore text says that it provides absolutely no protection from piercing attacks, being a 100% physical shield, it seems to block piercing attacks.

• The Jellyfish Shield Shield can be found on a broken wagon next to a body encircled by four Jellyfish directly north of the Foot of the Four Belfries Site of Grace.

• Shield Skill: Contagious Fury
• Contagious Fury boosts all damage by 20% for 30 seconds.
• Cannot be infused with Ashes of War as it already has a unique skill.
• Can be buffed with Magic and Consumables.

The Lordsworn’s Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Lordsworn’s Shield Shield drops from Godrick Soldiers wielding it at Gatefront Ruins.

• Shield Skill: Shield Bash
• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables.

The Manor Towershield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Manor Towershield Shield can be found in Stormveil Castle.
• From the Secluded Cell Site of Grace, travel back to the west and up a ramp where the Living Jars are. From here turn towards the wooden platform. At the end of the platform jump onto the ledge on the wall and follow it to the right towards some archways. Once you are through the archways, enter the storage room on the right and head up the stairs to a walkway above. Head towards a larger storage room full of Commoners. You can find the shield under the second set of stairs in this room.

• Flame Spit damage does not scale with Strength, but it does increase with the shield’s upgrade level.
• This shield cannot be infused with Ashes of War or buffed with Magic and Consumables.

Redmane Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Redmane Greatshield Shield is dropped by Redmane Knights in Caelid.
• One can be found West of the Impassable Greatbridge Site of Grace.

• Shield Skill: This armament has no skill.
• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables

Spiked Palisade Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Spiked Palisade Shield can be found on a corpse under a Golem, west of Deep Siofra Well, Caelid.

• Shield Skill: Shield Bash
• Can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables.

The Visage Shield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Visage Shield Shield can be found in Caelem Ruins inside a chest in an underground area east of the ruins. It requires defeating the Mad Mad Pumpkin Head (Hammer) & Mad Pumpkin Head (Flail) bosses guarding the treasure room.

• Shield Skill: Tongues of Fire
• Skill Description: Ready the shield, then spray several jets of fire from the tongues protruding from its maw. Hold to continue spreading fire. This skill can be used while walking.
• Cannot be infused with Ashes of War.

The Wooden Greatshield is a Greatshield that scales with Strength.

• The Wooden Greatshield can be found on a balcony in the main courtyard of the castle, just southeast of Liftside Chamber. You’ll only need to kill one enemy to reach it from the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace if you’re careful, as shown in the gif below.
