One of the early key resources in Enshrouded is Resin. You’ll primarily want it to upgrade your Flame Altar, but it can be used in numerous recipes, so you’ll want a good supply of it. Although it’s primarily found by chopping trees, there are other sources where you can find it also. Read on to find out where you can find Resin, and what you can use it for.

Resin Locations - Enshrouded¶

Starting with the easiest and arguably the quickest method, you can obtain Resin by chopping down any tree. When you chop the tree, you’ll have a good chance of receiving wood logs, twigs, and resin. Now, if you chop down the trees that have yellow or red leaves, you’ll have a higher chance of obtaining resin, so ideally you’ll want to aim for the trees with different color leaves first, and the other trees if none are nearby. Outside of chopping trees, you can find resin by breaking boxes, barrels, pots, and any other objects often found in buildings. The pots in the Springlands Ancient Spire have a high chance of dropping them among other key materials, so it’s well worth checking that out. In general, especially at the start of the game, you’ll want to chop down trees, but when you have access to the Springlands Ancient Spire fast travel, you can break the pots there for some extra resin.
