Rooibos is a plant that can be found all over the Nomad Highlands in Enshrouded. Predominantly used in strengthening the Flame Altar up to level five, there doesn’t appear to be much use for it outside the spice recipe, which is crafted via the laboratory. The plant is known for its broom-like appearance, and in-game it’s no different. You’ll know when you walk past a Rooibos plant, as it is a green bush with small yellow flowers that hang off its thick green stems. Read on to find the best location for Rooibos, and what you need it for.

Where to Find Rooibos in Enshrouded¶
The simple answer is all over the Nomad Highlands, but there are specific places where you can find more. A great place to find some Rooibos plants is the eastern side of Umber Hollow, south of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. You’ll also find some northwest and west of the Spire, near the fossilized skeleton protruding from the ground. Each area will have at least four to five plants in proximity there. There are plenty more locations, but these are all easy to get to (once you have the fast travel), and will yield plenty of plants.

East Umber Hollow Location¶
As with all of these locations, you’ll want to start at the Nomad Highlands fast travel. From there, glide southeast toward the Fanning Ranch Farm. Now, head northwest from the farm onto the path, and follow that northeast. This area will have several Rooibos plants here, some of which will be on top of the large stone mushroom-like pillars.

Northwest Nomad Highlands Spire Location¶
Back to the fast travel, head to the edge of the spire, and look north, and you’ll see a plateau with a flame shrine on it. Glide over and land on it, and then head over to the northwestern edge of the plateau. Below, you should see several plants in your immediate vicinity. Drop and gather all the plants, but be careful of the hyenas down there, as there is a lair or two nearby.

West Nomad Highlands Spire Location¶
Finally, you have the western location. Once again, glide from the top of the Spire to the west, and head toward the fossilized structure (can be seen on the map). Now, walk from the fossilized rib cage back to the fast-travel while searching the area in between. You should find plenty of rooibos plants scattered around.
