• Attacks with Odin’s blade do not fill the Limit Break gauge.
• However, striking an enemy or landing an ability with Odin’s blade fills the Zantetsuken gauge.
• Hold to ready Zantetsuken, release to execute.
• Zantetsuken potency and complexity increase with gauge level.

Pressing immediately following a Precision Dodge while the Arm of Darkness is active will result in a powerful attack called Flash of Steel.

Pressing after a successful parry while the Arm of Darkness is active will execute a powerfulm counter called a Steel Counter.

Using both Flash of Steel and Steel Counter is one of the most efficient means of quickly filling

Increases maximum Zantetsuken level to 5.

• Landing hits does not fill the Limit Break gauge.
• Ability is canceled if first strike does not land.

Significantly increases number of hits.

Allows assignment to any Eikon.

Dancing Steel
Land all hits from a single Dancing Steel on a single enemy.

Summon a second blade and unleash a flurry of attacks. Each hit landed significantly fills the Zantetsuken gauge.

Summon the legendary weapon Gungnir and lash out in all directions, dealing continuous hits to all nearby enemies.

• Follow-up strikes can be performed by tapping the execute button.
• Landing hits fills the Zantetsuken gauge.
• Landing hits does not fill the Limit Break gauge.
• Pressing while wielding Gungnir lifts enemies.
• Lifting enemies in this manner limits Zantetsuken gauge gain, but renders them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.

Increases follow-up attack speed.

Allows assignment to any Eikon.

Collateral Gungnir
Strike multiple enemies with a single Gungnir.

Summon the legendary spear Gungnir and execute an extended flourish of deadly slices and strokes. Each hit landed fills the Zantetsuken gauge.

Surge quickly forward and strike an enemy twice.

• If the first strike hits, can be used to chain a follow-up attack to the same or nearby enemy.
• can be used again to extend the chain.
• Landing hits fills the Zantetsuken gauge.
• Landing hits does not fill the Limit Break gauge.
• Recommended for when surrounded by multiple enemies.

Increases number of times the ability can be chained.

Allows assignment to any Eikon.

Collateral Cloud
Strike multiple enemies with a single Heaven’s Cloud.

Surge forward to strike an enemy. Can be executed multiple times in succession if previous hit lands. Each hit landed fills the Zantetsuken gauge.

Create a temporal rift to immediately recover from any ability.

• Using while executing another ability will:
  • Temporarily slow time.
  • Reduce Rift Slip cooldown by 50%.

Immediately recover poise after taking damage.
Using to recover poise after taking damage also reduces Rift Slip cooldown by 50%.
Lengthens time slow and further reduces ability cooldown when used while executing an ability.

Allows assignment to any Eikon.

Rift Combo
Use Rift Slip after attacking an enemy, and follow up with a different attack.

Use to recover immediately from any ability or action.
