Like a Dragon Gaiden

Bullseye Trophy/Achievement Guide - Like A Dragon Gaiden

By
Jarrod Garripoli

One of the minigames that you can play in Like A Dragon Gaiden is Darts. You will find this minigame in one of two places, either at the Stijl Bar in Sotenbori, or in the Coliseum Lobby in the Castle. Darts will have four different modes and you will need to simply beat another NPC at one of those modes to get this trophy/achievement. The easiest way to unlock this is via one of the Stroll n’ Patrol missions, with an NPC wanting to play against you.

Winning a game of darts can be challenging, although it can be made easier.

How to Unlock the Bullseye Trophy/Achievement

Now, before you go for this trophy/achievement, you should know that the Darts minigame requires you to have your own darts. Whenever you play for the first time, you will be given the Beginner Darts, which makes hitting your intended target a bit difficult. If you progress the story until you can unlock the Akame Shop, level that up until you reach the third tier. This will allow you to purchase the Premier Darts for 2,000 points, which are an S-class dart that makes the minigame a lot easier.

If you have the money and the Akame Network Points, then go to shop level 4 and get the Legend Darts for 8,000 points. These are better than the Premier Darts and will make things even easier.

Once you unlock the Stroll n’ Patrol missions in Chapter 2, you can head to the Stijl Bar in the northern part of Sotenbori. Inside is an NPC named Yada, standing right next to the Darts machine. Speak to him to start A Friendly Game of Darts mission, putting you right into the minigame. There are four different modes here, but the one that seems to be the simplest is the first option. Choose that, then pick 301, with the goal being to score points on the dartboard to reduce your score to zero. You will need to get to zero exactly, too, as if you go over, then you bust and will keep going until you do.

(1 of 5) Purchasing the Premier Darts from Akame’s Shop makes it a lot easier.

There are only five rounds to achieve this, but you don’t actually need to get it to zero, as long as you have a lower score than Yada at the end of those five rounds. If you got those Premier Darts mentioned above, then you should be able to easily get bullseyes, which are worth 50 points each. If you get all bullseyes in the first two rounds, then you should only need a single point for the opening throw of the third round.

Note that if you stop the cursor in the yellow area, then the dart will be thrown directly at where you aim. If you go right outside the yellow area, then there may be a little deviation from your intended target. If you miss the central area altogether, then you won’t hit the target. The quickest way to win is to aim at the bottom of the two little areas along the 20 area. This will score you a Triple 20 (60 points), so if you do this five times and get a 1 on the final throw, then you will win. Doing this isn’t easy, though, so it may be a little better to aim for the bullseye.

However you do it, as long as you win, you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
