“Finally, one should always remember that defence in combat is above all a way to create the perfect opportunity to strike. You might survive for long, parry and deflect the thrusts aimed at you, but in the end one mistake can mean death.

That is why you must strike when you see the chance. Don’t take unnecessary risks, but don’t hesitate either. Turn yourself into a fortress when the need arises. And kill those who try to breach your defences as soon as their own resolve falters.”
