One should take great caution when traversing the marshes of Vale Sangora, for it seems a new kind of creature has made them its home. Where it came from, no one knows. Some claim the depths of the sea; others insist – the depths of Hell.

It is a creature unlike any we’ve seen before – a giant lizard, or perhaps a small dragon. What is certain is this: a reckless traveller won’t survive the encounter. The few lucky enough to return have described the swamp monster as a slime-covered abomination, reeking of death and decay. Its teeth are sharper than saw blades, its claws ready to tear apart anything that stands in its way.

Make no mistake – the lizard is a predator, not some harmless game. It feeds on the flesh of deer, wolves, bears, and humans alike. Its hide is tough and difficult to pierce.
