Red Bokoblins are the most basic grunts you’ll encounter, although they’re somewhat smart, using their weapons to protect themselves from your sword.

How to Defeat¶
The main way to defeat Bokoblins is by slashing them in the direction away from their weapon. You can also wait for them to attack you, then stun them with a shield bash. When you obtain the Slingshot, you can shoot Deku Seeds to stun them.
