Skipper’s Retreat is the home of the robot captain who used to command the Sandship. It’s located towards the south-east part of Lanayru Sand Sea.

The Ancient Sea Chart

When Link visits the Lanayru Sand Sea, he’ll become friends with Skipper, a robot that used to be the captain of the Sandship. However, Skipper notices Link’s map is “incorrect” and asks him to retrieve a more accurate map from his house atop Skipper’s Retreat.

Number 25 When you reach the halfway section, with the metal bridge, use your Clawshots towards the south-west to reach the vine-covered platform, then Clawshot to the platform further south.

Treasure

Item Location
Red Rupee After the bridge guarded by a Moblin, next to a Quadro Baba.
Ancient Sea Chart Inside the house at the very top of the area. Use the Gust Bellows to clear away the sand towards the south-west corner.
Silver Rupee Outside the house, sky-dive off the southern platform and position yourself towards the right.
