Location Overview:
Rivington is situated south of the Sword Coast Couriers and northwest of Artur’s Mansion. A notable establishment in the area is The Rivington General, a blacksmith shop. Adjacent to the blacksmith is a store, accessible by a door behind the blacksmith. The store is managed by Exxvikyap, who offers a unique dialogue experience if you’re a Dragonborn.

Entering The Rivington General:

1. Upon visiting The Rivington General, located south of Sword Coast Couriers and northwest of Artur’s Mansion, head upstairs to encounter Gyldro Angleiron the Smith.
2. Gyldro Angleiron will direct you to the store downstairs for purchases, displaying his irritability.
3. Access the store by finding the door behind the blacksmith.
4. Descend the stairs to reach the store and engage with the clerk, Exxvikyap.

The city of Baldur’s Gate is a major region and a prominent location within Act Three of Baldur’s Gate 3. As a central hub in the game, Baldur’s Gate encompasses various districts, including Rivington and Wyrm’s Crossing, Wyrm’s Rock, and Lower City. Baldur’s Gate, often referred to as the Gate, stood as a bustling metropolis within the Sword Coast and the Western Heartlands. A thriving center of commerce and opportunity, it held the position of one of the most influential merchant cities along the western coast of Faerûn. Despite its neutral stance, the city’s leadership was a part of the Lords’ Alliance, a significant alliance of western powers.

To reach Baldur’s Gate, players need to complete Act 1 and proceed through Act 2 by overcoming challenges such as Moonrise Towers. Afterward, Baldur’s Gate becomes accessible as part of Act 3. It’s recommended to ensure your character and companions are at least level 5 before entering Act 2 due to increasing challenges.

Once you’re at the Basilisk Gate, you want to head north to find the Basilisk Gate Barracks. You will find the Basilisk Gate waypoint after passing Wyrm’s Crossing and the Wyrm’s Rock fortress.

Heapside Prison: Should you agree to arrest in the lower city, you’ll be taken to Heapside Prison. The prison cell has breakable elements, a manhole, and a pit latrine that can assist in escaping. An Eastern manhole leads to the Lower City Sewers.
