There are a lot of collectibles in Borderlands 4, some of which are familiar to those who have played previous games. ECHO Logs are basically recordings that some people have done, which add some lore to the overall game’s world. Fortress Indomita becomes accessible during the Rush the Gate story mission. Once you enter the place, it’s a good idea to get all of the collectibles inside before leaving, so you don’t have to return to get them. You will find only three ECHO Logs inside Fortress Indomita.

ECHO Log - Sticks and Stones

The first ECHO in this area can be a bit confusing, as you’ll see the icon appear on your map before you can reach it. You’ll need to do the whole story bit with sabotaging the ship, after which, you can take an elevator to the upper area. Before you do take the elevator, look to the south of the respawn station to notice a grapple point above you. Take it, then double jump and glide towards the platform on your same level, to the south-southeast. The ECHO will be on a crate here, and there’s also a red chest, if you wish to take a chance at some new weapons.

(1 of 4) When you reach the respawn station after sabotaging the ship, you can get this ECHO.

ECHO Log - A Timekeeper’s Life for Me

This is a pretty easy ECHO to get, since it’s pretty out in the open and doesn’t require you to do much of anything. When you take the elevator previously mentioned to the upper area of the fortress, there will be a respawn station directly to your south. On the ground, next to that station, will be the ECHO.

The second ECHO is found right after you take the elevator to the upper section.

It will be directly to the south of the elevator, by the respawn station.

ECHO Log - Fear and Self-Loathing

The final ECHO is also located in this upper area, in the last room with enemies, right before the vending machines. In this area, there is a spot higher up that you can grapple to (a broken ledge), so do that. As soon as you do, jump over to the other piece of the broken walkway and follow this to the end to find the ECHO on the ground.

(1 of 4) The Fear and Self-Loathing ECHO is in the room just before the boss.

Don’t forget that there are two Vault Symbols in this place, too, so make sure you get them now, to avoid having to make the trek back through it.
