Guard Scorpion

Description

The original insect (crustacean?) inspired combat robot, the Prototype Guard Scorpion is a step up from the lowly Guard Spider. Despite the praise, the Guard Scorpion is less proficient with its melee attacks, which hinders it a great deal, as melee claw attacks are the strongest offense these machines typically have to offer. In addition to some unusually weak claw swipes, the Guard Scorpion can use an EM Field to deal AoE damage in an area around it (perhaps hitting multiple times for little damage) and shoot with its Type-98 Cannon (again, multiple hits, little damage). All in all, the Prototype Guard Scorpion isn’t much of a threat, despite its 50,000~ HP. You’ll encounter it during Chapter 6, as well as in Mission 3-2-4.
