The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales may try to masquerade as a role-playing game at times, but you don’t gain experience or level up in this game. Instead, it’s much closer to a Zelda game inasmuch as the majority of your upgrades come from finding items. In the case of health upgrades, these come in the form of Shards of Life, which are either found in chests throughout the ages or obtained as rewards for completing [Shrines]. Well, technically the Shrines have chests containing Shards of Life, too, but this page will provide the locations of every Shard of Life found outside of Shrines in Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. For the location of every Shrine in the game, check out the linked page.

Shards of Life Locations¶
Explore the wilderness and delve dungeons to find chests, which generally contain only a few different drops: tul, magicite or Shards of Life. Get four Shards of Life and your maximum Vitality will expand by one unit. You start the game with five Vitality and can get up to twenty. Get one Vitality upgrade and you’ll unlock the trophy/achievement Overflowing Vitality while if you reach ten units of Vitality you’ll earn the trophy/achievement Great Radiance of Life.
