Throughout your travels, you are practically guaranteed to find a Piece of Heart. Of course, you’ll probably wonder what one even is. A Piece of Heart is, in essence, a quarter of a Heart Container. Unlike Heart Containers, however, you can find these almost anywhere, depending on how far you’ve gone in the game.

Collecting four of these will essentially give you a Heart Container – you’ll gain another Heart in your health gauge, and your health is fully restored. This section lists all 24 Heart Pieces, organized by area with a checklist format that saves all the ones you have ticked. (By the way, 24 Heart Pieces = 6 Heart Containers.)
