Lore
One of the sorceries of the Carian royal family. Creates a defensive arch of magic glintblades overhead, which automatically attack nearby foes. This sorcery can be cast while in motion. Bestowed upon the enchanted Carian knights, who combined this art with their swordsmanship to maintain pressure upon their foes, striking in waves of steel and sorcery.
Location
- Can be purchased from Sorceress Sellen for 2,500 Runes. Sellen is located in the cellar beneath Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave after giving her the Royal House Scroll or from Miriel, Pastor of Vows if given the scroll.
- You can get the Ash of War: Glintblade Phalanx after defeating Godrick the Grafted in Stormveil Castle and speaking to Rogier in Roundtable Hold. He will give you Rogier’s Rapier which contains the Ash of War. Simply slot another Ashes of War there to free it up to use on any Weapon.

- Stamina Cost: 12
- Causes stagger damage so can help break enemy stances.
- The blades will shoot into objects if you pass too close, including boss gates and other doorways. Take care not to waste a cast by trying to get clever and summoning them before setting foot inside a boss room.
