Battle: Hideyoshis Army (Turns: 20)

Jigglypuff against Chimchar and Tepig on the impressive battlegrounds of Ignis.

**Opponent Pokémon** **Type**
"Tepig" IconTepig Fire
"Bidoof" IconBidoof Normal
"Chimchar" IconChimchar Fire
**Win Conditions** **Lose Conditions**
Beat all enemies. Have your Pokémon KO’ed.

"Tepig" IconTepig is weak to Rock, Ground, and Water. Its move, Ember, will hit a target two tiles away. It deals super-effective damage to Fire, Ice, Bug, and Steel. Like all Fire-type starter Pokémon, it has the Blaze ability, which will raise its Attack once its HP is low.

"Bidoof" IconBidoof is weak to Fighting, and immune to Ghost. Its move, Headbutt, has a one-tile range and will super-effective damage to no one, half-damage to Rock and Steel, and nothing to Ghost.

"Chimchar" IconChimchar is weak to Rock, Ground, and Water. Its move, Ember, will hit a target two tiles away. It deals super-effective damage to Fire, Ice, Bug, and Steel. Like all Fire-type starter Pokémon, it has the Blaze ability, which will raise its Attack once its HP is low.

Once the battle begins, Hideyoshi will comment on his Fire-themed arena, where the fiery columns and the lava tiles will prevent you from coming near him. But Fire-types like Tepig and Chimchar? They have free passage. (Also note the hot springs scattered around the battlefield. You can recover from a Burn in there).

Move your Pokémon how you will and, on the next turn, your partner will notice that some fire pillars will go down as time progresses. Anyways, given how your opponent may be moving, we would suggest keeping "Jigglypuff" IconJigglypuff and "Eevee" IconEevee together, because that will allow a double counterattack should you get attacked. Or you can use your ability to speed Eevee to Bidoof and let Jigglypuff sing the other opponents to sleep when they get close.

Continue to move and fight as you will. Just note that, when the volcano is active, some rocks may fall from above to damage Pokémon. Consider them Fire damage. And don’t forget to use your partner’s Sweet Song before using a Potion.

Once you win the battle, your Pokémon’s moves should get powered up!
