This mission will have you going after a Hotspot, which help keep the simulator running, but it’s protected by a shield. In order to bring it down, you’ll have to disable the generators supplying power to the shield and those generators are protected by Zin. The first Hotspot has two shield generators, with one being on a rooftop and another at ground level.
Both generators are marked on your map with a gold-colored triangle, so you don’t need to actually hunt for them. Although you don’t have to kill the Zin in order to disable the generators, it’s a good idea to clear the area so you don’t get interrupted. When you are ready, head up to the generator and hold the designated button down to shut it down.
Do this to both generators and the shield will come down, allowing you to go after the central service point. Of course, more Zin will be guarding that and some of them have shields. When the coast is clear, do the same thing as with the generators on the main console, shutting it down for good.
The mission isn’t quite over yet, as when you shut down the Hotspot, a large enemy comes crashing down called a Warden. These Wardens have powers of their own, similar to yours, and can shoot energy blasts at you, as well as grab objects and throw them. When you see them charging up, just run away quickly to avoid getting hit.
Keep shooting at them (they have quite a bit of health, but headshots definitely work) until its health is depleted. Once it is, press the button that appears on the screen and you initiate a button mashing mini-game. Note that the button you have to mash will change and when the bar is filled up, you will destroy the Warden. You will absorb its power, called Blast, and be brought to a training ground to get familiar with it. Finishing that will end the mission.
