Unless you’re a super experienced Dark Souls player (which isn’t who this guide is aimed at), you’re going to die in this game… a lot. Thankfully, 99.99% of all deaths can be avoided; provided you learn from your mistakes.

We’re dead. Again.

In essence, the game is about punishing you for being too greedy with your attacks; or not paying close enough attention to your surroundings. It virtually never resorts to cheap tactics to kill you (apart from the odd occasion with random hit-boxes etc), so we’ve learned it is pointless going into a rage at the game. Because it wasn’t the games fault you just died (again).

By using our guide you’ll definitely reduce the number of times you’ll die (as you won’t have to rely on trial-and-error anymore); but you will still die. So accept now that you’ll make mistakes and say to yourself that “ That’s ok, now how can I prevent that from happening the next time?“
