There are six Lifesprings in the Gongaga region of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. You won’t be able to access them all at once as the region is divided into two parts. The second part is also restricted until you finish with the ruined reactor in the area and have your Chocobo. The guide below goes over every Lifespring location in the Gongaga region.
There are six Lifesprings in the Gongaga Region.
Expedition Intel 1: Clearwater Lifespring¶
The first Expedition Intel, Clearwater Lifespring, is in the southeast of the Gongaga region of the first Remnawave Tower. It is located in the first portion of the map, above 
Gongaga Village, and can be accessed as soon as you enter the region.

Expedition Intel 2: Fallbasin Lifespring¶
The Fallbasin Lifespring is located near a waterfall in the second part of the Gongaga region. This is an easy Lifespring to get to. Just make sure to follow the owl so as to not get lost. It’s near the ruined reactor making it easier to find.

Expedition Intel 3: Valefloor Lifespring¶
For this Lifespring, you need to use your Chocobo on a few mushrooms. The Valefloor Lifespring is east of the third Remnawave Tower in the second portion of the map. Once you bounce on the mushrooms, follow the owl down some ledges to find the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 4: Grotto Lifespring¶
The Grotto Lifespring is a bit tricky as you can’t get there from the abandoned port. Instead, you need to take a path around the cliffs and travel south from Remnawave Tower Four. This Lifespring is inside a small cave, just follow the owl nearby to find it.

Expedition Intel 5: Holy Ruins Lifespring¶
The Holy Ruins Lifespring is in the western part of the second Gongaga region map, east of the ruined reactor and south of Remnawave Tower Five. You will need to swim over to the nearby island where the Lifespring is and then take the stairs up to it. Following the owl is extremely helpful in locating this Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 6: Cavern Lake Lifespring¶
The Cavern Lake Lifespring is east of the Holy Ruins Lifespring in the second Gongaga map. It is also near the ruined reactor. This Lifespring is inside a cave; be sure to grab the Fiend Intel that’s nearby.

Once you have four of the Lifesprings found, you will unlock the option to fight the 
Great Malboro. This can be a tricky fight, so check out our guide here for help on defeating him.
