This is a lengthy quest and requires a very specific way of completing it. Speak to Alchemist Velno in the store to the left of the Slaughterhouse entrance. She will ask you to test a concoction in battle and you must have a recovery item slot free to begin. Free up a space by selling/discarding an item.

You must keep the Nektar and use it in battle when Lightning has at least one status ailment. Make sure you switch to a schema that doesn’t have innate resistance to ailments. Once she has an ailment, simply use it as you would any recovery item. Return to Velno when you have completed this.

She will then ask you to test out Nektar Mk II which you need to use when Lightning is poisoned. The best way to do this is by fighting Gorgonopsid in Luxerion or Dead Dunes and have them attack you with Virulent Breath. Use the Nektar and then return to Velno.

The third conversation will result in yet another potion for you to test; the Mirakle Nektar. You need to be afflicted with three or more status ailments which isn’t always an easy task. The easiest way to do this is to fight Meonektons, Triffids, Chocobo Eaters, Earth Eaters and the like. When you have at least three ailments, use the Nektar (and bear in mind you need to finish the battle too) and then return once again to Velno. Sheesh.

The final step is to enter the Slaughterhouse and show off the Nektar of the Gods in front of a crowd. Simply use the potion at any point in the battle and then speak to Velno once more. You will now gain the Nektar of the Gods (Omega). It triggers Bravery, Faith and Regen and is a very useful item in tough battles so save it for then. You can also purchase additional supplies of it at a cost of 1280 gil each.

This is the hardest task to achieve. Find an enemy that loves to spam status ailments like the Triffids.
