Draining Dungeon - Judge and Executioner
Leech Collectors
While Leech Collecting might revolt the more puerile parts of our mind, the harsh reality of what goes into keeping vrakhiri fed is much more grotesque than slimy parasites dwelling in wetlands. To facility the dire business of draining their human cattle,
Ambrus has a trio of Draining Dungeons set up in his domain, and clearing these operations will do much to stifle the supply of blood to the vrakhiri. This page will cover all three Draining Dungeon activities in
The Blood of Dawnwalker, including their time costs, rewards and more.
Page Breakdown¶

Twists and Turns Walkthrough¶
You’ll find this Draining Dungeon along the northeastern end of Ambrus’s domain, in the Maragir Wealed (right near the text on the map, in fact!). Find the fort built into the mountains and just… go through the wooden door along the front of the palisade. Inside you’ll find a paltry pair of guards - kill them and loot one to obtain the
Directives from Ambrus to get the grisly details on what’s happening here. Loot the and grab the
Letter of Admonishment from a desk inside a tent to learn about the location of the quest
Ambrus’s Prisoners: Lucky Crossing.
When you’re done looting the camp, find a gate build into the mountains and pass through them. Go downstairs and at an intersection turn right, then continue down more stairs to reach a gate, beyond which you’ll find a large chamber where prisoners are being held. Kill the guards, and loot them to obtain the
Jailer’s Keys off one of them.
Choice - Free or Condemn the Prisoners¶
Find a cell with some prisoners in it just to the right of where you entered and inspect the gate, assuming you have the Jailer’s
Keys. This will consume 3 TIME - the first time cost of the quest. Talk to the prisoners and you can ask them about their background to learn about their prior service to the knyaz. Given their situation, it’s safe to say that that bridge is well and truly burned. You can either let them rot for their crime of serving
Brencis or you can free them, after which they’ll ask what you want in exchange. Pick ”Do what you can to oppose Brencis.” and they’ll seem all too eager to go out and cause trouble, while if you say ”You owe me nothing.” they’ll remark on your benevolence. Whatever decisions you make the reward is the same: 250 XP and 1x Skill Points.
